Live at 4 PM Pacific time on The Boze Noze Show – the CDC's new guidance on wearing a mask and being fully vaccinated has created a "Catch-22" for businesses and governments across America. How do you know someone has been fully vaccinated in a country that recognizes the right of individuals to refuse to release medical information? We will talk about this and more today on The Boze Noze Show starting at 4 PM Pacific time give us a call at 646-721-9887

  • Taxes, timber, budgets, and COVID Oh my! I think I have whiplash from Gov. Karen

    12/05/2021 Duration: 01h04min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! Taxes, timber, budgets and COVID, oh my! I think I have whiplash from Gov. Brown's constantly changing risk levels and metrics when it comes to COVID restrictions. I think some of those changes were due to the public outcry over the extreme risk shutdowns. I also authored an opinion piece on how the wood products industry is paying a 50% higher tax burden than the rest of businesses in Oregon. We are currently in our budget cycle that is looking okay but still not sufficient when it comes to law enforcement. While we can't put enough patrol out in the county somebody is vandalizing Eugene City Councilors homes with defund the police graffiti. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • We're Closed - AGAIN! (But you don't have to wear your mask.)

    28/04/2021 Duration: 01h00s

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! Holy shutdown Batman! Here we go again but this time the restrictions are even further out of alignment with the data and will not address the issue of concern. The Board and the Association of Oregon Counties both sent letters to Governor asking for her to reconsider her ill-advised shut down coming on Friday. I have a lot to say about this and data to share about where Lane County is seeing case growth and transmissions and why closing indoor dining and gyms will not decrease cases or hospital usage. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. Lane County is moving backwards in re-opening our economy due to OHA's arbitrary risk level metrics. Our board is back to virtue signaling again. • CAT tax, Family leave tax, Carbon Tax and more

    14/04/2021 Duration: 59min

IVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! Ernst and Young, a "big 4" accounting firm, released a new study that shows the forest products industry pays a larger tax burden when compared to other businesses in Oregon. Yet, we are seeing proposals to add taxes to the industry based on false claims they aren't paying their fair share. At the same time, lumber prices and housing are at all time highs. If you add new taxes on the industry that produces lumber do you think that might just add to the housing problem? Speaking of the homeless, it seems even Eugeneans have their limits when they can't get to their jobs due to on street camping. COVID is also still a big story and the legislature is at "crossover" today so their is a mad scramble to keep bills alive. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. You can listen to the show online (just click the picture below) or on your phone by calling 646-721-9887. Just

  • Lane County at low risk level

    31/03/2021 Duration: 01h01min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! "Build back better!" is the newest sound bite that is supposed to make us all feel good but what we should be hearing is "we're form the government and we're here to help you" and it should scare you just as bad. Speaking of building it looks like we are finally moving towards waiving permit fees for the victims of the Holiday Farm Fire. Speaking of housing, the legislature is after your mortgage interest deduction. Representative Marty "No bacon for grandpa!" Wilde is trying to tax DA's for filing charges on behalf of the state? Dairy Mart announced the closure of one of their stores and government is to blame. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! • The Boze Noze Show

    24/03/2021 Duration: 01h00s

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! COVID keeps dominating the news as Lane County is moving down to the "Lower Risk" category under the Governor's metrics and we opened vaccination up to those 45-64 with underlying health conditions and have gone to self sign-up for appointments. All of this is due to great work of our Public Health staff and many community volunteers. It is also due to the incredible job the University of Oregon did getting their outbreak under control. I just hope we don't see a post spring break bump that sends us backwards. We are also experiencing a pandemic of catalytic converter thefts in Oregon and there is a bi-partisan bill that would stop them if only our legislature could put the people ahead of politics. Speaking of the legislature we can also talk about fire recovery, sentencing for violent crime, and parents rights. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. You can list

  • Did you get your stimulus check? Don’t forget, Oregon is going to tax it

    17/03/2021 Duration: 01h00s

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! It has been one-year of COVID in Lane County so let's talk about where we are with vaccinations and the tie between prevention policies and unemployment. While were on the subject of the pandemic, the state still is planning on taxing your relief checks from the feds. I am also beginning to wonder if some of our Portland legislators understand the link between diesel engines and the food the eat everyday. We can also talk about whatever is on your mind, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • Today on the Boze Nose Show…

    12/03/2021 Duration: 01h03min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! Should a 16-year old be able to vote in Oregon? The same people that are worried about voter restrictions are proposing restrictions on the initiative process with HB 2684. HB 2928 proposes to eliminate the use of tear gas by police to control crowds that this summer used commercial grade fireworks, Molotov cocktails, frozen water bottles, sling shots, and blinding lasers against the police. Taking away the middle ground between doing nothing to control a riot or using lethal force. In better news, Lane County is moving to OHA's "moderate Risk" level and restaurants will be allowed 50% seating capacity. Also in good news, the threatened destruction by anarchist in Eugene was called off due to a visible presence of police, thanks EPD! We can also talk about Eugene's sweep of the homeless along the river and other topics, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • Covid and openings, and HRJ 13 may increase your property taxes

    04/03/2021 Duration: 01h01min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! The data is in and Oregon had over 2,000 excess deaths in 2020. The UO is getting the outbreak that came with students returning under control and Lane County is being allowed to partially re-open by the overlords at OHA and Gov. "Karen" Brown. So why can't parents watch football from the fence if under OHA rules an outdoor wedding would be allowed 75 people? Your freedoms are still under attack by the legislature and my fellow Commissioners. The legislature wants you to vote to raise your property taxes by 60%. We can also talk about recent racist vandalism and other topics, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • SB 554 Gun Control, Farmers Severance Tax and More

    25/02/2021 Duration: 59min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! The legislature is in session and your freedoms and hard earned money are not safe. From allowing local governments to restrict Constitutionally affirmed rights to a slew of new taxes and fees it is hard to keep track of all the ways our legislature is trying to make Oregon a jobless wasteland. In addition, they are proposing soft on crime laws while restricting law enforcement. Is it a wonder why we are starting to see articles written about the death of Portland? We can also talk COVID and other topics, just give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. • Winter storms without natural gas

    18/02/2021 Duration: 01h00s

Live Wednesday at 4 PM Pacific time – it sounds unthinkable to rely totally on electricity and to get rid of natural gas which is what Eugene is actually considering following AOC's in the Biden administration's "Green new deal" to reduce carbon and of course, reduce some more green in our wallets. Imagine that you're in Texas right along with millions of Texans who were in a rolling blackout due to winter storms and you are totally 100% reliant on electricity. Part of the reason why there is no electricity is because the windmills are frozen but the technician can't get to the windmills to go fix them because there's no electricity to charge your electric car or service vehicle. People are doing anything they can stay warm and then of course there is always that one person who goes against the grain, still drives a gasoline car, has a gasoline generator, several bottles of propane kicking back in their nice warm house watching satellite TV. Still want to get rid of the natural gas? So we'll talk about t

Despite the fact that 33% of our recent cases deprived from a tiny geographic area of our County known as the University of Oregon. • Covid, gas, Stimulus check taxes and more.

    04/02/2021 Duration: 01h00s

LIVE on TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! I want to talk about COVID and the unscientific approach our state is taking on controlling the spread as well as distribution of the vaccine. The U of O is driving Lane County into the extreme risk category keeping many other small businesses closed. Individual freedom is also under attack from the City of Eugene, the Oregon legislature and our President. Why have we suddenly turned to government to control individual behavior? I also want to hear what is on your mind so give us a call! The Boze Noze Show is live at 4:00 pm Pacific on Wednesdays. 31/12/2020 Duration: 01h03min

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! It seems like it has been longer than 12 months since we were worried about the Cap and Tax legislation and held the huge Timber Unity Rally in Salem but that is just one of the topics that will come up in our year in review. COVID, BLM, Wildfires, Floodplain Ordinances and taxation without representation are just a few of topics we will also try to get to during the show. Thinking about it all just makes me want to drink wine, pet my poodles and take a nap. We can also talk about anything else on you mind, just give us a call! • Taxation without representation and unscientific closure of gyms

    24/12/2020 Duration: 54min

Live today at 4pm Pacific,  I (Jay Bozievich) have engaged an attorney to represent my dispute with the city of Eugene challenging Eugene's new public safety payroll tax. “I also cannot believe it is constitutional to try and tax the employee's income that derives from work they do outside of City limits. My working office is located in my district outside of City limits, how am I subject to this taxation without any representation?” Continued Bozievich, “How many other people is the City trying to extort by misapplying their tax authority?” Attorney Alan Thayer noted "Section 1 of the Ordinance adds 10 sections to the Eugene Code. One of those, Eugene Code 3.724(1) imposes the tax on every employer, “except the federal government, State of Oregon or any political subdivision of the state.” The City of Eugene enacted Ordinance No. 20616 on June 10, 2019, that imposes a 0.22% tax on employers and a 0.44% tax on employees based on the employee's wages to pay for various “public safety” programs.
