On tonight's live edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Josh Luecht(@JoshLoveHockey) to discuss the Panthers 3-2 OT win over the Toronto Maple Leafs where the Panthers got off to a 2-0 lead, Toronto was able to come back in this one late in the third period, and Nick Cousins gets to overtime winner for the Panthers to send them to their first Eastern Conference Appearance since 1996. The Panthers did in game 5 what they failed to do in Game 4, which was consistently get in front of puck where they had more blocked shots in the first period then all of Game 4. Panthers scored on the PP once again and were perfect on the PK to officially give them the edge over Toronto in the special team category in the series.
