Preseason week 1 is in the books, and on to week 2. In the first preseason game Chase Young had a monster forced fumble, the defense looked great, top 5 is very achievable. Jamin Davis looked a little lost but there is no reason to be concerned, he is a rookie and is learning how to be a star in the NFL> Afterall isn't that what preseason is about? The offense also looked solid. Fitz was Fitz and Heinicke showed that it wasn't just a game and a half but he MIGHT be able to do this for real. Joe and Stevie catch up on a plethora of topics as a new football season begins. Fitz is clearly QB1 and everyone SHOULD be ok with that. DC still hurting after the Nationals big trade but how long until they are competitive again? Could the NBA take a page out of the MLB / NHL playbook and have the Nets and Knicks play in Rucker Park? The NBA is slowly dying. Super teams are annoying. Lebron James is out of the playoffs and changing his jersey again. The Wizards made the playoffs but really had absolutely no chance. The Caps are eliminated in the first round once again. WFT is looking more and more like a really, really REALLY strong contender in the NFC. Finally the USMNT had one of the best soccer games of the decade against El Tri. 

  Join in as get all set for another DC playoff run. Caps/Buins Wizards/TBD. The Caps are certainly dealing with some lingering injury issues but most look ready to go come Saturday. Dwayne Haskins had a D- game vs the Seattle Seahawks. One good quarter doesn't negate 3 horrible quarters. Dwayne Haskins had a F- Sunday. His actions after the game overshadowed (in a bad way) his D- Sunday afternoon. The WFT has some big decisions to make this week. We are GLAD Ron is in charge. The Washington Football team has ripped off 4 straight. The defense is playing phenomenal behind the leadership of rookie, defensive player of the year, Chase Young. The offense is actually top 10 over the last 6 games but questions linger with Alex Smith's status being up in the air.
