Defeating The [dc Sports] Curse

What is "legal tampering" exactly? ... how are all of these NFL deals being announced just minutes after the tampering period begins? Can anyone explain it? The #Commanders were super active landing a STUD offensive lineman via trade comfortably in his prime and DT "BigDaddy" Kinlaw. Did the #Rams get a little better or a lot better? #Cowboys are doing nothing so far, and the #Colts are spending a lot on defense? Switching to the ice, the #Capitals got a few wins over the past week AND the #Great8 closes to single digits in his quest for the record. Plus, the boys continue the (Offseason Movie Club; min 55:02) OMC discussing 2002's the Count of Monte Cristo... have you seen it?

FP, Andy, Stevie, and Joe are in the studio recapping the week that was in and around DC. Fireworks in real life and in local sports. Ovi is within 10 of the record even though the Caps dropped 3-straight, the Lakers are surging... the Nationals finally have room to negotiate their own media deal and the Offseason Movie Club (OMC) debuts with a review of 2008's Forgetting Sarah Marshall! 

While the rest of the cast is enjoying the warm DC weather, FP and Joe, are on the mics talking about all kinds of stuff. Football is over but does it ever really end when the tampering ongoing and combine around the corner? John joins for 5-good-minutes talking trades... The Great 8 is getting closer and closer to "the record", the Wizards aren't actually bad... and in and around DC... productivity is way way way UP! + A classic TV show and a spinoff TV show are discussed in detail... spoiler alert... but not really... you'll thank us in the end!

FP and Joe are back at it and so much has changed in such a short amount of time. The finale of the NFL season may not have been great but the countdown to the next season is already underway. Literally.... FP is counting... 209 days to go. Would you rather head to Brazil or Spain to watch the Commanders play next season? Can Jayden keep doing all of "this" as he begins season two? What happened to the NBA all star break? Lebron ruined the NBA with his superteam nonsense, Joe has explanations, and the #Caps are super hot heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Plus, FP is going to rewatch Entourage and Joe promises to start a specific AppleTV show soon.

FP and Joe are slowly adjusting to offseason life as the NFL season comes to end. The Chiefs lost and looked bad bad bad while the Eagles deservingly (yuck) crushed and won. Bill Rohland joins the boys for 10-good-minutes revisiting the season finale and the #Commanders magical run. Plus, is the NBA interesting again? After a week of wild trades are we actually paying attention to the hometown #Wizards and the league overall? and... Eat My Cookie debuts next week... 

Well, we are just a week away from the #superbowl nobody cares about and the end of the #NFL season. The boys are ready to switch into NBA and NHL mode while Stevie and Mat are already onto baseball. LP is watching a lot of international soccer and 20 has thoughts about the Royal Rumble... literally the show that has something for everyone! Join us! 

The boys are still recovering from a tough loss in Philadelphia to end the season and while the pain is real the progress and promise of a bright future are in the air. Many many supportive messages have come in to the various show accounts and we are all so very grateful. Pete from Philly however is the worst and 24 hours later is still harassing the cast. Biggest position of need? ... so many things to debate this offseason. What a fun ride it has been DC... cheers to a wonderful season.

The Commanders season continues after a big win on the road in #Detroit. The team that won 4 games in total last year is 60 minutes from playing in the super bowl! The NFC championship game is set for Philly on Sunday at 3pm... all.bets.are.off! Jayden needed to play a perfect game, and did! The #Lions had to be forced into mistakes, and they were. The rest is history. FP, Joe, and Andy break it down and set the table for a full week of shows this week in prep for a huge NFC East showdown on Sunday. #RaiseHail #HTTR ...here we go #DC!  

A little under the weather but still encouraged... Razzle, FP, and Joe yuck it all up in preparation for Sundays showdown in Philly.... Although the Commanders struggled they had the ball last and thats all that mattered. #Detroit fans are annoying and the #Lions are beatable... right? The boys are fired up and ready for the best weekend of football until next years opening weekend... this is it! #Broncos dud; #Steelers should be banned from postseason; #Bengals should have been force-added; Joe disrespects the Bills, John hates on Detroit, Stevie has a fun weekend ahead, and FP truly loves AP. The #Commanders beat the #Giants twice, split with the #Eagles, and now split with #Cowboys too... plus 12 wins, what's not to love?... it's playoff time in #DC! Keys to beating the #Bucs according to Stevie, run the ball, according to FP lock up Mike Evans, and Joe says score early and often to pressure Baker down the stretch. It's a holiday week but that doesn't mean we skip a show! The #Commanders pulled off a stunning victory on Sunday over the #Eagles and got flexed into Sunday Night Football vs the #Falcons. The Christmas Day sports rotation was out of control between the NFL and NBA and while the NFL games were largely boring the NBA had an awesome day with an average margin of just 5 pts between winners and losers... but nobody watched! Pete from Philly chimes in from overseas and Stevie shares a largely redacted story... oops. + EPL Boxing Day GoalRush in 4k is awesome! Merry Christmas!

The boys are over the win on Sunday against the #Saints and have already switched gears to the #Eagles. The Lions lost their grip on the one-seed with #Vikings and Eagles firmly in the mix. The NFL MVP race is looking like its either a QB, a QB, or an RB at this point... but defensively, has anyone had a better season than TJ Watt? The boys share come of their favorite Christmas traditions and catch-up on all their shows and movies too!

Coming off the bye week for the Commanders the boys are in studio discussing the week that was in the NFL and the week ahead. Lots of MLB and Caps talk to start the show but the pivot to the NFL is quick.... The Eagles barely beat the Panthers but stay alive in the chase for the Lions and the top NFC seed, the Rams pulled a big upset, and the Chiefs... the Chiefs keep luck-winning. Seems like fans want to see Lions vs Bills but we are going to get stuck with Eagles vs Chiefs in the Super Bowl? Maybe? Commanders need a win against the Saints to stay alive in the NFC and what was the NFL thinking with several huge games in the 4pm window on Sunday?

The boys are in the studio discussing the NFL at large after the Commanders dominating win over the Titans. One person who said they would "NEVER" return to Fedex Field made his first trip to NW Stadium and we think several of the guys logged close to zero minutes of football this weekend... which is shocking considering it was on TV four of the last five days! FP and Joe are down hard after a tough loss to the Cowboys sinking the Commanders to 7-5. Is anyone still excited about this offense? Stevie is taking a victory lap as he repeatedly told the boys “I TOLD YOU SO” in the offline chat… and looking around the league the season may literally be hanging in the balance with a frisky #Titans team headed to town. This was a tough loss... hurts so bad! Every road to the playoffs includes a win over the Titans... here we go...

Well, the Commanders dropped a winnable game at home to Russ and the Steelers. The refs played a big part in the game which has some of the cast upset and on a short week there are no excuses as the Eagles are up next on Thursday night. Will the Jets win two more games this season? Will the Lions lose to more games this season? How about the Ravens, Cowboys, Chiefs and/or the Bears? + Capitals remain red hot and Ovechkin is steadily closing in on the record of all records...
