Will Russian/English dancer, Roman, sweep contracts lawyer, Avery, off her feet? I mean... probably... it's a romance. We also discuss an Etsy commercial that made me cry.  

We watched On the 12th Date of Christmas. Will this surly man fall in love with this woman who LOVES corporate entertainment? Will this movie turn out to have a positive attitude towards a woman living in the big city and following her big career dreams? Will we figure out the clues to discover Chicago's hidden gems? Minimus Maximus (@minimusmaxim is his +18 twitter feed) joins me to discuss the #Netflix movie #HubieHalloween, a study in what works in comedy, and what doesn't. We also conjecture as to how this movie makes Netflix money. Also, here's the cat, so you don't have to watch the whole movie. 

So, recording on Zoom worked, but the audio qualify isn't perfect, but both Katie Knight, friend of the podcast and myself are completely understandable as we discuss Deranged Granny a Lifetime movie. You really don't want to eat the Granny's sinister baked goods, but go ahead and eat a burger around a man who's puking his guts out, why don't ya? 

Jacob Haller of Love YA Like Crazy joins me to talk about Abducted: Fugitive of Love. A movie with more clever twists than it has to have and more nudity than expected, and we propose a TV-show spinoff "STAT!" about the a couple of minor characters.

Merry Christmas and Haeg sameah y'all it's Christmas (and Hanukkah) in July! We watched Mistletoe & Menorahs. A Jew teaches a Gentile about Hanukkah and she talks about fruitcake. @SarahIfftDecker joins me to discuss this offensive?/heartwarming? tale. It's a real cultural exchange complete with a pitch we make to Lifetime for a St. Patrick's Day/Purim spin-off movie which I'm way more excited for than the movie we watched.  

Darren Husted (@darrenhusted) of a billion podcasts including The Social Minute (@social_minute) joins me to discuss Lifetime "thriller" Boyfriend's Deceit. Wigs and blueprint storage tubes galore in this episode. (BTW, when I mentioned my sister said that the only reason someone would date an architect is to gain access to office supplies, she was only kidding.)

Tim Stevens (@ungajje) and I discuss Death Clique. A Lifetime Original Movie, loosely based on true events. Not as silly as usual, but we have fun discussing the interesting set design choices, and other interesting choices made in this movie. 

Chelsie Berio and I watched, "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" a movie about a man who becomes obsessed with the woman who saves his life, and "helps" her with her tenant, her rival, and her son. Murder and nonsense abound. It's quite a pickle jar.

Flophouse host, Dan McCoy (@dankmccoy) joined me to discuss "Revenge for Daddy," the Lifetime Original movie. This episode was a delight to record and even though this movie was strange, I'd say the movie itself was delightfully baffling. 

Marissa Flaxbart (@sweetvalley) joined me to talk about InstaPsycho. A movie about telling your HS bully to #suckit. And accidentally letting your friend die. The stakes really ramp up on this one!

Life is crazy right now, so I didn't watch a movie. Instead, I reached out to Sarah, host of Media-eval, for a chat about podcasts and whatever else was on our minds. 

With #Megxit in full-swing, could I resist a "Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal"? No! Fortunately, I have Tim Hulsizer (@glamcrackers on Twitter) to talk about this C+ movie. Will it make us feel anything despite being very mediocre? Maybe! In the episode we mention the Grenfell tower fire, and the Grenfell recipe book. Each linked article is worth the read. We also discuss the Buzzfeed article contrasting how Kate and Meghan are written about in the British press. Meghan's treatment by the press is as bad as you've heard.

A re-release of July episode. I'm still working on unpacking boxes guys! Neither Sarah Ifft Decker (@sarahifftdecker) nor I know anything about science or American history. But she knows about medieval churches and I know about farts, so everyone is definitely staying in their lane this episode as we talk about the cheapest zombie movie ever made, Survivorz.

Sisters, Kathleen and Megan watched, "Appetite for Love" with college friend Katie. "Appetite for Love" is a Hallmark original. We recorded this roughly 3 years ago. That's right it's another Soundcloud oldie making its way into the main RSS feed. "Appetite for Love" that seems more concerned about corporate law than about actual romance. Our main character comes back home to ruin an old flame's restaurant just 3 months after his father's death as if breaking his heart all those years ago wasn't bad enough. And we get to talk about the LaBelle Swamp Cabbage Festival.

Meghan Griffin (@MeggGriffin of megggriffin.com) joins me to discuss "Deadly Influencer." This movie is about a girl who we suspect is will be killed by her social media manager; we suspect this because her social media manager murdered the last friend whose social media she managed. Will we be influenced to give our "likes" over to this movie? Is the result of this "influence" deadly? Listen to find out!
