Anyways, the crew is a man and/or woman down for episode 16 as they talk the PS Vita, PS Vita TV and PS4 announcements from Japan and what it all means from our American perspective. Meanwhile, Microsoft employees are braving Reddit and NeoGAF to defend the Xbox One and Hideo Kojima was forced to respond to controversy over Metal Gear Solid V's scantily clad female sniper.  Plus, there's also a little talk about the Robocop trailer that looks like it may end up in the barrel of horrible remakes alongside Total Recall. And this week's Burning Question polls whether or not the newly announced iPhone 5S is enticing enough to upgrade.

There was also both PAX Prime and Dragon Con this week that three of the Fourcasters attended with some notable controversy at one. Plus, there's news that Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature playable Qunari which is a huge disappointment to Jen. And this week's Burning Question is what is the first next-gen game you plan to purchase?

    Holy lengthy podcast title, Batman! The Furious Fourcast is broadcasting a little early this week with two of the casters heading to conventions this week. That doesn't stop Jen, Adam, Robert and Scott from talking the casting controversy of Ben Affleck as Batman and Miley Cyrus' twerking at VMAs (despite Scott's protests).  Yes, there is plenty of game discussion too though including the leak and "gone gold" announcement of Grand Theft Auto V, an unfortunate incident involving GTA IV and what Xbox One and PS4 game reveals out of Gamescom impressed the most. There's also a heavy discussion of Disney Infinity. And this week's burning question involves the worst of the Star Wars expanded universe which somehow led into a contest involving twerking Ewoks.  What?!?  Yeah, it's the Furious Fourcast y'all.

  • Furious Fourcast #13 -- The All My Gamescom Hour

    Gamescom hit Tuesday and Microsoft, Sony and Electronic Arts brought plenty for the Furious Fourcast crew to talk about in an early edition of the weekly podcast. There was a PS4 release date along with a plethora of games a PS Vita price drop and plenty of shots fired. There was Xbox One with some interesting announcements and gameplay footage of TitanFall, Forza 5, Project Spark plus free games with the console and more but not as much new. And, there was an Electronic Arts showcase for all of its upcoming games. Max, Robert, Jen and Scott hit the topics on what was shown at Gamescom plus look ahead at what the Xbox One release date might be now and whether either will see any launch issues like consoles in the past.  Also, this week's Burning Question asks if the Sony press conference moved the needle to swing more people into the PS4 camp.

  • Furious Fourcast #12 -- The Humble COD Ghosts vs GTA Online Hour

    With the dual reveals of Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer and GTA V's Grand Theft Auto Online this week, the Furious Fourcast crew talked about the contrasts between the two and which one made the better impression. Also discussed is what is happening with the PS4 and Xbox One next week and what moves Sony and Microsoft will make with release dates for the next-gen consoles. Not to mention the latest change to the Xbox One regarding the Kinect, EA's impressive Humble Bundle and the surge of game releases next week starting with Disney Infinity. The Batman: Arkham Origins and Forza 5 collectors/limited edition get compared as well which kind of ties into the Burning Question of the Week as Adam, Jen, Robert and Scott discuss which comic books they would like to see Rocksteady Studios turned into games.

    The Furious Fourcast quickly went off the rails for the Episode 11 recording Thursday night and struggled to get back on the tracks. In between teasing Jen for her WoW fishing addiction, Scott dealing with a door to door salesman at a late hour and other silliness, the crew discusses whether or not the changes revealed in the latest Game Informer magazine article about Dragon Age: Inquisition touches their excitement meter after the disappointment that was Dragon Age II. Speaking of wavering between disappointment and excitement, the Xbox One unboxing video and the latest 180 that Microsoft has taken and the features locked behind Xbox LIVE Gold. They also touch on the Naughty Dog's alternate ending for The Last of Us in a slightly spoiler-ish section at about the 43 minute through the 48 minute mark so beware. Before that though, there's a little movie talk with the kerfuffle between Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis in The Expendables 3 and thoughts on the new Thor: The Dark World trailer. Check it out

While $50 million may have had something to do with that he leaves behind some problems like Microsoft's insistence of shooting itself in the foot by talking about Xbox One and advertisements with Kinect.Nintendo isn't spared either as the Wii U is in a world of hurt according to Michael Pachter and Jen, Robert, Adam and Scott don't necessarily disagree but for slightly different reasons.They also talk about the word from Double Fine about Broken Age being split into two games because it became too big for the $4 million it got from Kickstarter as well as a laundry list of games that are currently in the queue. This include the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, [Redacted].As for the Burning Question of the Week, Scott asks, "What would it take to get you to see The Lone Ranger?
