    It's our inaugural podcast, so we celebrate by discussing the movie that had us leaving the theater practicing our Crane Technique and wondering if we'd ever get the girl. Ralph Macchio was 22 years old during the filming. William Zabka directed a music video for the band, "No More Kings." The song was called "Sweep the Leg" and was written about Zabka's character in The Karate Kid. Pat Morita was a stand-up comedian early in his career. Morita's natural accent is American.
