In Ep #39 Tony and Eddie review a small release film from a few years back called, Turbo Kid (2015). Available on Netflix currently, Turbo Kid is a comical gore-fest about a post-apocalyptic world that's frozen in 80s/90s style and culture. It's nostalgic, it's ambitious, it's crude, it's gore-filled...but is it good? Tony seems to say 'yes'. Eddie, not so much. Listen to the boys talk about the pros and cons on this Sundance Selection while they sample beers from New Belgium & Abita brewing companies.

In Ep#38 Tony & Eddie argue for most of the show. The film this week was requested by a listener and it surely didn't disappoint when it comes to discussion. Years ago a movie came out that rocked audiences and critics alike. It was a slow film. A poignant film. A powerful film. It was also boring as hell and difficult to get through. That film was, There Will Be Blood (2007). The boys dissect the heavy and potent themes of the film. They discuss it's lofty goals, it's brave decisions and it's fearless choice of everything from music to plot content. In the end neither side sways the other and our stubborn hosts stand fast in the wake of the reviews. There is one thing they agree on, however. This flick goes better with beer. This week they sample brews from Yuengling and Weyerbacher breweries.

In Ep#37 Tony & Eddie take the next step in their Harry Potter journey. They're talking Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this week. The boys both gave the movie a middle of the road rating, but it becomes quickly clear that they loved a lot about this movie. They talk about Volde-baby, Volde-fetus, Baby-mort...they're not sure about the nickname. They discuss the coming of age struggles detailed in this flick and how well this part of the story highlights some of the growing pains of youth. They do all that [in a far less serious manner than just described here] while they sample beers from Southern Tier and Dogfish Head breweries.

In Ep #36 Tony and Eddie embark on a journey with the lofty goal of figuring out not only if they loved or hated Arrival (2016) but also if the film is a good Sci-Fi movie, a good Drama, was the acting good or bad, etc? There's a lot of conflict in those answers and in their ratings. If you loved the film, this Cinemantics episode will make you think about re-watchability. Or perhaps you're dismiss their ranting for drunken dribble. This week they try beers from Atwater Brewing and Erie Ale Works.

In this mini episode, Tony and Eddie try a few beers as they discuss everything from thier favorite cell phones of all time to being old and hating...most everyone. Pokemon Go comes up too. What really is a "raid" anyway? They of course wrap the episode with a fan favorite, Cinemantics Pairings and Tony explains how booze and sharing can get you out of anything.

In Ep #34 Tony and Eddie swoon about a fan favorite. This week they discuss Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). They loved the movie, but call out a few blemishes. Time travel...it's a tough thing. So is young love. And rat murder. Or alleged rat murder. Eddie's favorite HP characters are revealed in this episode and Tony tells the world what his patronus is [it's a Pine Martin btw]. We also talk about our high hopes as we continue on our Harry Potter journey. Come experience it along with us! We also tried two beers this week, of course. Tony brought a Southern Tier Warlock to the show and Eddie sampled an old favorite from Bell's, Two-Hearted Ale.

In Ep #33 Tony and Eddie talk about the live action Disney remake of Beauty and the Beast (2017). They love Lafou. They love Cogsworth. They love...well maybe they love this movie. In Ep #32 Tony and Eddie continue their journey into the Potterverse by reviewing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. They talk about a more mature, more believable, more enjoyable cast and film…but they also talk about how much they hate Dobby. Will they come around and love the droopy eared mischief maker by the end of the series? You’ll have to listen in order to find out. The boys also tried two new beers this week; one from Evil Genius Brewing and one from North Country Brewing company. PS - We also find out this episode that Eddie is not a Gryffindor...he's actually a Hufflepuff.

In Ep #31 the boys begin their epic journey into the loved and adored world of Harry Potter. They start with The Philosopher’s Stone (obvi) this week and over the next few months they’ll intermittently review the whole series as they finish re-reading each book. We talk subjects like - Did this movie age well? Who is the target audience? Why didn’t we watch this while it was coming out? When did Harry Potter fever hit? Who would win in a fight, Rowling or Tolkien? And, Tony names several potential Harry Potter character spin-off movie titles in this week’s list. If you love Harry Potter or hate him, join us this week to talk about it all. PS – Of course Tony is a Slytherin. Everyone would have guessed that, right?

In Ep #30 we talk about the Revolution Brewery based film, Drinking Buddies (2013). This no-script, mostly freeform flick didn't tickle our fancy. We talk about feet, how much Tony looks exactly like Jake Johnson and those "go-with-the-flow" type people. We sampled beers from 21st Amendment, Blue Point Brewing and ... PBR.

In this mini episode, we're back from our hiatus and the aimless and mostly listless banter continues as we talk about two new beers. Tony talks about being a brand new first time dad. Eddie talks about ... well he asks questions about mostly that some subject.

In this mini episode, Tony and Eddie try two beers from two of their favorite breweries, Founders and Southern Tier. They discuss the size of the beer and intense alcoholic flavor explosions but they also spend a sizable portion of the episode talking about JNCO jeans. They finish up the episode with a crowd favorite, Cinemantics Pairings, where Tony and Eddie pair their beers with not food, but anything they can think of that would make the beer even better than it already is.

In our first ever mini-episode we both try a new brew and discuss the variety of flavors, the front end, the back end, the mouth feel and the texture. Or...we ramble on about what we think about various topics and occasionally reference the beer. We then let you all know what we think you should pair the beers with for the best results. And we're not talking about food pairings.

In Ep#26 we discuss Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). Tony showed up in a Captain's hat this week. Mumbled something about being the Captain of the Rogue One. Turns out, though he likes Star Wars, he may not love Rogue One. There are at least two moments in this episode when Eddie laments about his lonely childhood and details the saving grace of the Force...for a nerd. We had mixed feelings, but we both agreed that we love robots, maybe more than people.

In Ep#25 we widely disagree on the newest film to take place in the Harry Potter universe, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). We try to fill in some plot holes with love for the previous series. We talk about Newt's near-gibberish drawl. And we realize that Grindlewald is actually Magneto and Dumbledore is Professor X. You know, learning magic is kind of like being a mutant. Especially in America. It's a blessing and a curse. We do all that while sampling beers from Tall Tales & New Belgium and brewing companies.

In Ep#24 we tepidly talk about Morten Tyldum's Passengers (2016). We liked it (really we did!), but you'd be hard pressed to glean that from the episode. It's just a solid Sci-Fi flick. Nothing shockingly great. Positively nothing shockingly bad either. Tony wants to play horseshoes with Chris Pratt IRL. Eddie would rather just have a beer with JLaw. If you've got a date night to plan, grab some beers and rent this movie, or grab some beers and listen to this episode. Wait, do both. But watch the movie first.

In Ep#23 we argue about the validity of Alec Baldwin's character "Bob" from the 1997 movie, The Edge. We also talk about Anthony Hopkins' love of bears. Specifically Bart the Bear. We ask questions like - What the hell was this writer thinking? Does anyone put the TO and FROM names on an engraved gift? When is the last year that anyone wore a silk shirt? And many, many more. We do all that while we sample two different beers from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.

In Ep#22 we get to the nitty gritty of Fox's Logan (2017) film. We love Wolverine's broken, bitter disposition, but maybe we don't love the acting of the Next-Men children. We love a movie that starts out with an F bomb, but we wonder about a movie that ends with a run to...the Canadian border? We digest all of the above while sipping beers from Tröegs Independent Brewing and Southern Tier Brewing Company.

In Ep#21 we discuss one of our favorite sequels, James Cameron's Aliens (1986). We also talk about one of our favorite actors, Bill Paxton. We pay tribute to his long and colorful career in the wake of his tragic passing last week. We then ask questions like, "Can you duck tape Cancer to AIDs and make a super disease?" We also explain, in painful nerd-filled detail, how a Predator becomes a ...man? A grown Predator. A man-Predator. We're not sure what to call it. We do all that while drinking two different craft beers. One from Long Trail Brewing Company and one from Boulevard Brewing Company.

In Ep#20 we argue about whether or not Marvel's Dr. Strange is OK, horrible, or maybe just the most mediocre comic book movie of all time. We find out that Tony likes magic, and specifically magic that bends or folds buildings. Turns out Eddie isn't much impressed at all by unruly architecture, be it bewitched or not. We also drink beers from DuClaw Brewing and Magic Hat brewery.
