  • "The E-MEH-ji Movie": The Emoji Movie (2017), Sierra Nevada & Victory Brewing Companies

    31/01/2018 Duration: 01h03min

In Ep #59, the boys talk about one of the worst worst movies of all time, The Emoji Movie (2017). There's lots of movies in the world that are so bad that they're good. Tony & Eddie want to be clear, this isn't one of them. The Emoji Movie is listless, lacks focus, has potentially some world building opportunity but it's squandered throughout. All that ends up leaving most likely even a very un-opinionated viewer with feelings of regret for hitting the play button. This star studded cast delivers award nominated voice acting in an ultimately shallow film. At least the beer was good. This week the boys sampled brews from Sierra Nevada and Victory Brewing companies.

  • Lewis & Clark Where Probably Pieces of Shit Too: The Revenant (2015)

    23/01/2018 Duration: 01h03min

In Ep #58, Tony & Eddie dig deep into the grueling world of, The Revenant (2015). Leonardo Dicaprio's Academy Award winning role, they unanimously agree, was much deserved here. As well as the other accolades. There's so much to digest in this film (and they don't just mean buffalo liver either). Beautiful scenic imagery, shocking violence and perhaps some of the best villainy ever portrayed on film. It's a tough film to watch, however. Recommendations are only to a select few, but as a piece of art...this movie is epic. The boys drank new brews from Yard's Brewery and Founders Brewing Company.

  • "Drive 2049": Blade Runner 2049 (2017),10 Barrel & Sierra Nevada Breweries

    15/01/2018 Duration: 01h12min

In Ep #57 Tony & Eddie review Blade Runner 2049 (2017). The episode is slow, dense, beautiful and ambitious, but maybe not as much as the movie is those things. All of them, through the good, the bad and the (not ugly but...) asymmetrical. There's moments in this film that won't leave you. They'll cling to you pant leg, shirt sleeve or heart strings and you'll DRAG them about for weeks after the watch. The guys still aren't 100% sure about the movie. It almost demands a rewatch. They think you should check it out, but know what you're getting into first. The boys also tried two new beers this week. One from 10 Barrel Brewing and another from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Listen to this weeks episode to find out about the ups and downs, and also to get a "taste" of those beer reviews!

  • "Titty-bar gun-fight": Bright (2017), Long Trail Brewing & Woodchuck Cidery

    08/01/2018 Duration: 01h11min

In Ep #56 Tony & Eddie review Netflix's Bright (2017). The both loved the film but in the end wanted a little something more. Well, that's what Eddie says, Tony seemed to enjoy the mysterious world that Will Smith in habits in this Fantasy-Action film. They're excited about sequel rumors/confirmations. They had a super fun time watching the flick for sure. Check out this week's episode to find out why! This week the boys sampled brews from Long Trail Brewing and WoodChuck Cidery.

  • A Christmas Story 2 (2012), Breckenridge, Samuel Adams & Rivertowne Breweries

    21/12/2017 Duration: 01h01min

In Ep #55 Tony and Eddie take another, slightly less painful step on their Christmas Sequels journey. This week the boys shared some laughs and some beers while discussing, A Christmas Story 2 (2012). While they wouldn't exactly recommend the film to anyone, they didn't hate it. No, no. Not at all, really. If you'd like to find out why or your interested to hear their reviews on a few new brews from Breckenridge, Samuel Adams and Rivertowne breweries, it's all here waiting for you!

  • Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure (2003), Deschutes & Erie Ale Works

    11/12/2017 Duration: 01h09min

In Ep #54 Tony and Eddie take one for the team. This week they watched what could be the worst movie of all time. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure(2003). If you loved the first film, don't watch this. If you love Christmas, steer clear. If you like comedy, it's not here. In fact, if you've got enough time to spend watching this movie, you should listen to this episode first. At least the beer was good. The boys tried a new brew from Deschutes and one from Erie Ale Works.

  • Home Alone: The Holiday Heist (2012), Abita & Erie Ale Works

    05/12/2017 Duration: 01h12min

In Ep #53 Tony & Eddie start their condition their Christmas tradition for the second year in a row. This year, because it's their sophomore effort, there going to watch sequels of all the movies they watched during the Christmas season last year. First up is, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist...yes, there are 5 Home Alone films, people. The boys disagree about pretty much everything in this episode. There's some arguing. Some swearing. Some intense criticism and some adamant praise. The boys also tried beers from Abita & Erie Ale works breweries.

    28/11/2017 Duration: 01h10min

We sampled beers from Harpoon and Sierra Nevada this week as well. Come join us!

This week the boys tried beers from Southern Tier and Dogfish Head breweries.

    13/11/2017 Duration: 01h08min

  • Get Out (2017), Erie Brewing & Saranac Brewery

    17/10/2017 Duration: 01h13min

In Ep #46 the boys come back after a brief hiatus to discuss Jordan Peele's Get Out (2017). This critically acclaimed thriller caught both Tony and Eddie off guard. It was a brilliant commentary on one of our nation's oldest problems. This film is smart, poignant, sharp as a knife. Get Out brings the boys to some touchy subjects. Perhaps subjects they aren't best suited to discuss, but they attempt to do it with brevity. Listen in to find out more. This week they drank beers from Erie Brewing Company and Saranac Brewery.

  • The End of Voldefetus: HP 7 Part 2 (2011), Omme Gang & Newport Storm Brewing

    03/10/2017 Duration: 01h18min

In Ep #45 Tony & Eddie finally end their Harry Potter jounrey by reviewing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. We'll be honest, this episode is a bit of a gush-fest. The series ends with a lot of nostalgia, a few small disagreements, but mostly the boys just talk about how much they enjoyed working their way through the books and movies again. They talk favorite scenes, favorite characters, favorite (and dumb) horcruxes. Join us at the end of the Harry Potter road (well, at least until Fantastic Beasts 2 comes out). This week we sampled beers from Omme Gang and Newport Storm breweries. And at least one of them was fantastic!

  • Harry Potter & the Deathly HOLLOW: HP 7 pt. 1 (2010), North Coast and Southern Tier Brewing

    19/09/2017 Duration: 01h10min

In Ep #44 Tony and Eddie realize that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 is a little…well, hollow. Was Harry Potter the first franchise to split a book into two films? Was that decision merited? Who do we have to talk to about not repeating this mistake with future films about the world of Harry…oh, right. It’s too late. The boys want to love this movie. They truly do. But in this film, just like in this episode, much time is spent just moving things along so that we can see what happens in Part 2. This week they drank beer from North Coast and Southern Tier brewing companies.

  • Harry Potter & the Princess Diaries: HP 6 (2009), Erie Ale Works & Rusty Rail Breweries

    12/09/2017 Duration: 01h14min

In Ep #43 Tony and Eddie take another step in the Harry Potter journey and discuss the Half Blood Prince. They both give this film raving reviews...no seriously, they really did. Listen to this week's episode as the boys talk Slughorn, Snape, Dumbledore and Luna while they drink beers from Erie Ale Works and Rusty Rails brewing.

  • ET - Extra Terrible: Alien Convenant (2017), Erie Ale Works & Long Trail Brewing companies

    28/08/2017 Duration: 01h15min

In Ep #42Tony and Eddie are on opposite ends of the spectrum again. Tony takes critical pot shots at Ridley Scott's second Alien prequel while Eddie's love for the franchise seems to color all things Alien in rose tinted glasses (there's a joke in here about Xenomorph colored POV style glasses but we can't make it work). Both sides of the argument acknowledge some week spots in this film. Another legendarily ill-equipped crew is just one of those things. The grand questions and take away seems to be - are we willing to deal with some piece meal plots along the way to the direct link to the Alien origin or are we so full of questions/questioning every thematic, problematic circumstance that we just want Scott to call in Damon Lindelof to write the next two films? We'll let you know.

  • John Max Wick Payne: Episode #41 John Wick (2014), New Belgium & Southern Tier Brewery

    22/08/2017 Duration: 01h12min

Ep #41 is a special episode where Tony and Eddie celebrate One FANTASTIC YEAR of drinking and talking about some great and some not so great films and TV series. The boys disagree about the gritty and action filled gun extravaganza, John Wick (2014). But perhaps Tony was able to sway Eddie's opinion. Even though he was critical, Tony's persistence and detailed critique made it hard to not rethink his rating. But did he? If you love good beer and guns, this episode is for you! Also, god man...did they have to kill the puppy? We want to thank each and every one of you that listens and subscribes to us. It's been a great year [with some ups and some downs] and we're excited to continue hanging out with all of you.

  • HP 5: Episode #40 ...the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Neshaminy Creek, Small Town & Yards Breweries

    08/08/2017 Duration: 01h10min

In Ep #40 Tony and Eddie once again visit Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest and this time...Grimmauld Place. They sit down to talk about about Order of the Phoenix members sitting down to discuss the grave possibilities of the future of the wizarding world. Tony comes in low on his rating of this movie. Shockingly low. But Eddie tries his hardest to sway him by describing some of the brilliantly depicted/acted/portrayed scenes in this film. Whether you're a big Harry Potter fan or not, we think you'll enjoy hearing the boys engage in constructive...criticism. Come and crush a cup of butterbeer with us!
