SJS-Hour 2 - 01-26-2024 - Steve and Todd discuss the AFC and NFC title games, then make their picks. Then Steve talks about a report about the Big Ten men's basketball tournament only having 15 teams. Steve says, "I don't think this a good public relations move."

SJS Hour 1 -01-26-24 - Todd talks a bit about the PIAA oversight committee, then Steve talks Keyshawn Boutte, and gambling. Steve says, "People always make excuses that the (college) players are unsure of the gambling rules, but they used alias, they knew the rules."

Philadelphia Inquirer's Scott Lauber joins the show to give us a glimpse into his Hall of Fame processes. He talks about Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins future Hall of Fame chances and a little on some of the players that missed induction this season. Then Scott talks about Bryce Harper's contract situation.

Front Page Sports Media's Bo Smolka joins the show to talk the Baltimore Ravens. Bo tells us the effect of Roquan Smith on the Ravens' defense. An update on Mark Andrews availability, and what Isaiah Likely has done has his replacement. What improvements has Lamar Jackson has made? and an update on the Penn State players on the  Ravens.

SJS Hour 1 - Bo Smolka of Front Page Media joins us to talk the Ravens, then Steve talks the Chiefs vs. Dolphins on Peacock versus the rest of the first two weeks of the NFL playoffs. Steve says, "Don't get too cocky with your product. There is eight seasons left in the TV contract, don't price your fans out of the game."

SJS Hour 2 - Steve talks about how much $ Ohio State has spent on NIL in portal and in roster retention. Steve also doesn't get Kliff Kingsbury. Indiana radio basketball play-by-play guy Dan Fisher gets fed up with Hoosiers flagrant fouls.

SJS Hour 1  - 01-24-2024 - Steve talks College football expansions. 50% of viewership of college football comes from 18 teams. We talk about the Hall of Fame induction. Steve says "It's about the eye test, not just the numbers." Then we talk Ohio State and NIL $

Neal talks the NFL playoffs with Steve. We talk Chiefs-Bills, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, development of Brock Purdy. Neal and Steve discuss NFL pundits and their reactions to Purdy as well.

Bob shares his seven-man ballot and the reasons for his vote. We ask why Gary Sheffield isn't in the Hall and will he get in in his 10th year of eligibility? Billy Wagner's chances. Bob says "After Billy, I don't think there is a reliever I will vote for."

SJS Hour 2-01-23-2024 - Steve talks analytics in relation to the Bucs-Lions game, and Tampa Bay going for 2 down 8. Then Neal Coolong talks the NFL playoffs. Neal says, "Lamar (Jackson) can be loose in his throwing mechanics at times, but if this is what we are nit-picking about him, he's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL."

John Griffin 01-22-2024 - Griffin talks about what Bucknell will learn from Saturday's tough loss to Lafayette in overtime. Griffin said, "We came in Monday morning and used it to teach. It wasn't the buzzer beater, but the things we did with a 14-point lead that cost us later in the game."

SJS Hour 2 - 01-22-2024 - Steve discusses the death of University of Colorado play-by-play guy Larry Zimmer and the 12th anniversary of Joe Paterno's death. Steve also gives some advice to listeners, the he gives to his students. Steve says, "If you take care of the little things, the big things will take care of themselves."

SJS Hour 1 - 01-22-2024 - Steve and Todd breakdown the weekend's NFL playoff action. Steve says, "What's the one thing the Chiefs did on Sunday, that they didn't the rest of the season? Catch the ball," then Bucknell coach John Griffin joins us to discuss the last 10 days of Patriot League play for the Bison.

Co-host of Birds 365 on YouTube Jody Mac joins Steve to talk the Eagles and the end of the season. Some of the reasons why Jody thinks the Eagles struggled over the 1/3 of the season and what offseason could look like in Philadelphia. Jody says, "Every body is looking to point to one reason for the collapse, but it wasn't just one thing. It was 10 or 11 things. Every body has to take some blame."

Adam Rittenberger 01-19-2024 - ESPN's Adam Rittenberg gives his thoughts on Bill O'Brien joining Ohio State and then a deep dive into the state of college football. Adam and Steve discuss the coach's convention and the ideas from it. Adam says "They had a lot of good ideas, but will the NCAA listen."
