Friday 8/28/20 Hour 1 – Topics: Big 10 discussing possible start to the football season around Thanksgiving, and the pros and cons to that start. Guest: Nate Bauer, Blue-White Illustrated, on that possibility, how the B1G athletic directors and coaches were never really united on the postponement decision, it’ll be hard to convince the league presidents to start then, and more.

Topics:  The NBA cancels games due to the Blake shooting in Wisconsin.  Guest:  Dennis Chambers, NBA reporter, on that and more.

Wednesday 8/26/20 Hour 1 – Topics: The recent letter sent from parents to B1G Commissioner Kevin Warren, a better idea of what a spring semester season could look like, and a Penn State COVID-19 testing update. Hour 2 – Guest: Neal Coolong, Steelers Wire/USA Today, on the state of the Steelers’ locker room this year, training camp updates, NFL’s 77 false positive COVID-19 tests, and more.  Topics: Lions cancel practice, Raptors threatening to boycott Game 1 of playoff series with the Celtics, and sports and news reporting getting ‘lax’ because of the pandemic.

Monday 8/24/20 Hour 1 – Topics: What Penn State football can do during the fall semester, Micah Parsons, Pat Friermuth named to 1st team All-American, what the local sports scene looks like this fall, and the Flyers’ loss. Guest: Ben Kerscheval, CBS Sports, on his story on James Franklin’s frustration, spring ball wouldn’t be that bad, and more.

Hour 2 – Topics: NFL testing issues, and there’s four options to when NCAA basketball may starts. Guest: Sam Carchidi, Philadelphia Inquirer, previewing the Flyers-Islanders series – how similar both teams are, the Flyers are going to need more scoring from their top players, and what it meant for the Flyers to win a playoff series for the first time since 2012.

Monday 8/24/20 Hour 1 – Topics: An anti-climatic Indy 500, Luka Doncic’s game winner but Steve doesn’t buy the overall NBA hype. Guest: Andrew Kalista, FOX 43 York Sports Anchor,  on the PIAA’s decision to play fall sports, what schools in southcentral PA are deciding, and more.

Hour 2 – It’s weekly sports trivia with The King, and PIAA Executive Director Dr. Bob Lombardi explains the decision to go ahead with fall sports, how the decision was made, when sports would start, and more.

Friday 8/21/20 Hour 1 – Topics: PIAA making decision regarding fall sports, and Iowa cuts four sports.Guest: Donnie Collins, Scranton-Times Tribune, on Kevin Warren’s letter, problems again with the timing of the decision, Penn State testing and more.

Hour 2 – Guest: Ryan Snyder Blue-White Illustrated/Rivals.com, on how recruiting is and will be affected by no Big 10 football, and update on the dead period, and how no in-person recruiting has hurt coaching staffs. Topics:  A look around MLB and NBA, and the struggles of baseball recruiting.

Thursday 8/20/20 Hour 1 – Steve reacts to Big 10 Commissioner Kevin Warren’s letter, says there’s a ‘perception problem’ with him. Guest: Frank Bodani, York Daily Record, on James Franklin’s frustration of protocols getting ready for the season not being good enough, the 12 hour rule doesn’t make sense, and PIAA unknowns.

Hour 2 – Penn State Head Coach James Franklin meets with the media following the Big 10 postponement. He expresses frustration with the timing of the decision, how difficult its been telling players and parents bad news without any answers, he doesn’t like the 12-hour rule, and how players and coaches weren’t heard before the decision.

Wednesday 8/19/20 Hour 1 – Topics: Steve doesn’t like Lane Kiffin’s comments on transfers, and he breaks down a report on what Big 10 spring football scheduling could look like.

Hour 2 – Guest: Neal Coolong, Steelers Wire/USA Today, on Artie Burns comments not getting a fair chance to play in Pittsburgh, new dynamics of training camp and more. Topics: Steve has more on the bad NBA ratings, Big 10 parents going to conference headquarters to protest, and more.

Tuesday 8/18/20 Hour 1 – Topics: Steve’s only beef with the Tatis grand slam was swinging through a take sign, why there’s bad NBA ratings right now, and his problem with load management. Plus, why analytics can be a problem in the NBA and MLB. Guest: Serena Winters, NBC Sports Philadelphia Sixers Sideline Reporter, with her analysis of the team’s Game 1 loss to Boston, possible lineup changes on both sides after the Gordon Heyward injury, and more.
