This week we watched "The Death of the Incredible" franchise and the made-for-TV movie with the same title. This 1984 film not only is the first appearance of the Girl of Steel but is also the first instance of magic being used as a main villain to a Kryptonian. This all star cast of Helen Slater, Faye Dunaway and Peter O'Toole couldn't save this trainwreck of a movie.

It's about time for another movie based on a manga and it's another film by Hayao Miyazaki. This week we watched "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind." We did not watch "Warriors of the Wind" and based on the poster no one ever should.

It's Yor's world, we are just watching it's insanity. Special guest and Reb Brown aficionado Jef Burnham joins our hosts to discuss this movie based on an Argentinian comic that is all the right amounts of crazy.

With breakneak speed we switch gears from the campiness of Superman III to the more serious "Barefoot Gen", the movie based on the experiences of a child who survives the bombing of Hiroshima. Even though this might be one of the more serious topics we discuss the movie is pretty entertaining.

Producer James and Ruben are not amused by the hijinx of the first comic book trilogy. Even though it is titled Superman III this movie is hijacked by the comedic shenanigans of Richard Pryor. Buckle up and try not to roll your eyes as hard as you can.
