Our second premiere of the week comes from Dublin DJ and producer, Jack Nolan, as he readies his 4 track EP on Dublin's Undivided label. Undivided was established in early 2021 by Dublin natives Ian McCarthy (Amak) & Aaron Page (PageOne), with a goal to showcase emerging local and international talent in electronic music. Together, the duo have created a stir with a series of underground events that have attracted a rapidly growing audience. Now, almost a year on with the label boasting some of the countries best producers, the team returns with yet another stand out release, this time welcome rising Dublin DJ and producer Jack Nolan to the label. We’re delighted to premiere a track from one of our favourite artist’s at the moment, LSDXOXO as the Berlin based producer completes our quaternary premiere for the mighty Possession VA. Green Inferno is swimming with old-school techno flavour and is an array of funked up baselines and well orchestrated vocal hits. American born and Berlin based, LSDXOXO stormed onto the scene in 2018 with his Body Mods album that featured an array of obscure styled tracks that have since become his staple sound and remain essential tools in many DJs arsenals today. We begin a whopping week of premieres with an equally tremendous track from one of Ireland’s greatest techno producers in the countries history. Liam Chambers aka HOOLIGAN is a DJ and producer hailing from Cork. His approach to techno reflects images and soundscapes of the dark basements of Berlin, his love for rolling basslines and heavy hypnotic grooves, ultimately blending the old with the new. We premiere David O’Neils, impressive broken spin on FYuN’s, ‘Untitled’ track. 2021 has seen numerous collaborations between Irish artists, this time FYuN, David O’Neil & Offtrack step up for a great cause as they serve up some great techno. FYuN has organised an EP for charity that consists of an original entitled ‘Untitled’ and two remixes from Dave O’Neil and Offtrack. The trio of producers, went deep and created an intricate EP ranging through different styles of techno. This EP was put together in order to raise funds for Pieta House. Pieta house is a nonprofit organisation who relies on the public for 80% of their funding. They offer free services to those with suicidal ideation, those engaging in self-harm and those bereaved by suicide. Our Global Mix series returns with one of our favourite techno selectors at the moment, Dinamite. The Berlin based DJ has been cutting her teeth in the techno scene for the last decade through a residency in Tresor & her much applauded imprint, Onna Bushi Records. I stumbled across Dinamite last year through her newly formed label, Onna Bushi Records. From here I began to see to her name more frequently through appearances on Hör Berlin and guest mixes for likes of Pole Group & Oecus. Later I shared a lineup with Dinamite in Berlin and got to experience her powerful and dynamic techno sound up close & personal. The Spanish native has been residing in the capital of techno, Berlin for the last decade.
