Our first premiere of the week comes from Dublin based producer Son Orbis who returns to Four Four with a fresh edit of UK house don Eliphino. Jack Fleming aka Son Orbis gifts us with a free download following on from his release with Scottish label Milk It Sounds as well as a Jam & Spoon edit which was featured on Soundspace. Son Orbis has recently received great support from 1-800 Girls and Joris Vroon so we expect DJ’s to playing this new edit on repeat. The Dublin based producer has put his break fuelled stamp on the original track which is a sure fire party starter. We're delighted to welcome the Czech born and Berlin based DJ, Tigerhead, to our Global Mix series, as the exciting DJ and producer provides us with a jam packed hour of techno power. Having watched and listened to many of Tigerhead's mixes, we just knew we had to reach out and request a mix for our monthly Global Series. The rising star has been climbing the ranks in recent times, playing a funky, jackin and driving style of techno. The typically all vinyl DJ has been gaining recognition and flexing her skills on platforms such as Hor Radio and Room Trax, some of which have now gathered over a million plays. These streams coupled with some high profile gigs and podcasts have helped her gain the reputation as one of the brightest stars in techno right now. Tereza R. pursued her love of music and arts from an early age, playing and singing in bands before moving to Berlin as a teenager. She quickly developed a deep love for DJing and collecting records, spending most of her time digging for hidden treasure

We premiere Scottish electronic music royalty, Vince Watson. The now Netherlands based artist returns for his incredible 13th album, which is no mean feat for any musician. Vince has had a massive year with releases on Get Physical, Tronic, SushiTech, All Day I Dream, his own Everysoul Audio and a host of remixes. Vince ends 2021 by presenting his label’s biggest and most adventurous release to date, ‘DnA [re]Sequenced’. This is also accompanied by the [re]Sequenced Sampler which features 3 brand new mixes from the DnA album by Vince himself. The album also features some of electronic music titans including Carl Craig, Claude Young, Jon Dixon, Steve Rachmad, John Beltran, Shawn Rudiman, Stephen Lopkina and Stephen Brown. The Local Selection mix series this week comes from Cork Native Medb, who supplies us with a fantastic and deep hour of jungle, breaks and D&B to make this a great addition to our series. Currently residing in Australia, Medb recently blew us away with her guest mix for Kate Butler on the much loved @dublindigitalradio. Upon listening to her show, we simply had to request a mix for our series. While in Ireland she was part of the badass DJ duo Really Bad Mother’s- [shout out to Bad Mother #2 Rachel] who earned their stripes playing the best in breaks, dubstep and all things bass music. Today she smashes our Wednesday afternoon with a back to back mix of experimental bass, beats and jungle. With tracks from Luke Vibert, LMajor and Om Unit, this local selector has no doubt got a serious selection of records we want to hear more of. We premier Latvian techno DJ and producer SKD’s contribution to the 10-year anniversary compilation of Berlin queer collective and label ‘Gegen’ with his track Serpents Of The Snake Pit. SKD is known to bounce through post industrial techno, techno and experimental electronic music. Incoming! We stop off in Waterford this afternoon as we premiere a track from Cash X Mack with their their first EP of the year on Techno City's label, 'Tech City'. With the country being at a standstill for the past 18 months, the pair started to make the music that was coming most naturally to them, along with not being afraid to experiment with new sounds, the Project residents found themselves creating and enjoying the heavier side of dance music, culminating in their debut techno EP. The 4 track EP including two remixes from Hyyken & Lu:nera. The EP's title track '2AM' is a hard hitting energetic track and has already gathered some early support from fellow Irish man Rebuke. Hyykens remix is an edgy breakbeat version of '2AM' while Lu:nera have put their signature Melodic Techno style on their 'Higher Level' remix. The massive VA doesn’t come short of respected techno stalwarts including The Advent, Jeroen Search, Kamikaze Space Programme, Cressida, Operator and more. The London based techno and electro providers are known for their forwarding thinking approach and outlook to the respected genres. English techno heavyweight Cleric returns to his imprint ᴄʟᴇʀɢʏ with a four track EP entitled 'Addicted To Love'. The Manchester label boss, boasts a quartet of pacey and groovy techno numbers that drift between quintessential rave euphoria, broken beat carnage and raw driving grooves. The 25th edition of Clergy comes in hot with their third release of the year following on from Measure Divide and Kontain’s celestial releases on one of the UK’s most acclaimed techno labels. This time round, label boss Cleric flexes an impressive 12 inch. We premier the A1 of the record entitled Addicted To Love. The track is rave soaked break-beat techno affair that is made for those goose bump dance floor moments. The 90’s influenced track is submerged with joyous and zestful stabs and vocals that make for an absolute rave anthem. There’ll be an absolute battle to play this upon the reopening of nightclubs. Jay Clarke returns to his imprint BLACKAXON for his 6th instalment which will be dropping in 4 parts across September and October 2021. The project titled ‘Riders of the Storm’ was announced earlier in the year across his social media channels, where he made 4 previously unreleased and original tracks available to remix as part of a competition. This was opened up to all production levels, with the idea to give lesser experienced artists the chance to remix, get creative and most importantly have fun. We premier Italian techno DJ and producer Lady Maru’s contribution to the 10-year anniversary compilation of Berlin queer collective and label ‘Gegen’ with her track Kill Ur Lobby. Lady Maru best known for her post punk and EBM style tracks takes a different direction on this track as she returns to our sound-systems with a more industrial style affair. On the back of releases on Diffuse Reality, Revok Records and Industrial Complex as well as a revered collaboration release with Samantha Tongi, Lady Mary is going from strength to strength. Conor began playing in clubs in early 2019, and has gone on to share line ups with international artists such as JKS, Mayeul, Airod and KRTM. During lockdown Conor earned a radio residency at Phever, where he presents his show ‘Beats & Bleeps’ bi-weekly. Dublin favourite Jordan Kinlan aka DART returns to our Four Four premiere's with his latest track 'Tree Frog', which featured on Hammers label Remmah. DART's six track EP on the Irish imprint showcases club ready tracks cloaked in lighter melodic tones and textures. Tree Frog is a rolling euphoric club banger that features an epic breakdown that perfectly descends back into a rolling groove, making this a huge club tool. The six track EP has been picking up some steam ahead of its release on the 17th of September. In the latest edition of our Local Selection series we hand over the hot seat to a good friend of Four Four and general sound head Pauly Doyle AKA Echo Potential. We've been eager to get this mix out for a while so make this your afternoon soundtrack. Pauly Doyle AKA Echo Potential is a Dublin based techno DJ and producer who set up the underground club night The Universe in 2019 having been involved in the scene for the best part of a decade. Prior to lockdown, he booked and welcomed guests such as, Kloves, LAG, Rene Wise, Yant, and Blasha and Allatt to bring the noise. As well as being a talented DJ and producer, he has taken it upon himself to better the mindset and support available for those involved with the music industry. From Ireland to Manchester, Kerrie Anderson aka @kerrie_dj made the move to the UK in 2010, where she quickly joined the Eastern Bloc Records crew. Kerrie made her Cultivated Electronics debut in back in July with ‘We Continue Part 1’ which has grabbed the attention of media and DJs alike, recently featuring in DJ Mag’s Staff Picks amongst other accolades. She now returns in September for Part 2. This Irish born, Manchester based DJ and producer has been rising in the ranks since first joining the Eastern Bloc crew and over time has taken her analogue live shows to the likes of Freerotation and The Warehouse Project. 2021 saw the launch of her label, Dark Machine Funk Recordings (DMF).
