I grew up riding and have been supporting my daughter’s love of horses by leasing horses for the last few years - waiting for the stars to align to settle into a more permanent relationship with a particular friend of our own. On Saturday, we found Cloe’ - a beautiful five year old quarter horse who will be our next spiritual teacher.She is already living up to her role.When we got her home on Sunday, she was a completely different being than the one we lovingly cuddled and rode the day before. She’d been filled with angst related to her move to a new barn, bonding with new humans, and navigating the changes in her environment. Her first lessons to us have been teaching us courage, resolve, and patience.
