    A Tribute to David Bromige Sebastopol Center for the Arts Friday, August 17th, 2018 The Sebastopol Center for the Arts presents a tribute evening for Sonoma County’s second Poet Laureate, David Bromige. Sonoma County Poet Laureate emeritus Bill Vartnaw hosts the event. To kick-off the book launch tour, he’ll be reading from, If Wants to be the Same as Is—The Essential Poetry of David Bromige. Also reading from the book will be editors Ron Silliman, Bob Perelman and Jack Krick will be in attendance, and local guest readers Gillian Conoley, Pat Nolan, Cole Swensen and Jonah Raskin. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. The evening also features the world premiere of Incremental Windows, a documentary by filmmaker, James Garrahan who filmed a series of conversations with Bromige that cover his poetics, his family and his life.     Redwood Empire Food Bank Fire Relief Updates Ongoing The REFB will offer our Station 3990 emergency food distribution to all of our neighbors directly impacted by the fires at mobile drive-through distribution sites throughout Sonoma County. Distributions are free and open to anyone affected by the Sonoma Complex Fire, including those who lost homes, employment or wages, access to previous food assistance, those who are sheltering others who lost homes, and those who experienced financial hardship following the fires due to loss of power and gas, access to work, or increased expenses as a result of the fires.
