    Earl Everett Pinney, Jr., born and raised on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, relocated to New Jersey at the age of 18 to attend Edison Job Corps. While there, he enrolled at Middlesex County College and ultimately obtained his Associate Degree in Marketing Art and Design. He's now working on obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice through the University of Phoenix.  Earl had to make some huge adjustments in his life, after he was awarded custody of his son, Donte Whitaker-Pinney. Being a single parent became the biggest challenge of his life. However, he adjusted his life and moved forward. With the grace of God and help from his brother, Greg, everything worked out.     May 19, 2013 marked the 1-year anniversary since Chris and his team, Darren, Crooks, and Tara started Project A. While creating Journey of Kahn, they embarked on a wonderful journey of self-discovery and empowerment. In the year, they made a full script for Journey of Kahn, plus music and a vast collection of concept art. They have received support from companies in the Virgin Islands and South Africa, hoping to increase worldwide support.  They have also created a children's book Lumeh in both paperback and e-book formats. They have also partnered with a host of young Caribbean writers and artists in order to have a "factory" of talented people to create even more books.   • Terre Roche and Afro-Jersey

    Afro-Jersey was formed in 2008 when old friends Terre Roche and Sidiki Conde began to write songs together in both English and Mandingo just for fun.   Terre Roche is best known for being one of The Roches. She has worked with Paul Simon, Laurie Anderson, Was Not Was, Philip Glass, Kathy Mattea, Meredith Monk and the Indigo Girls to name a few. She sang the role of Squeaky Fromme in John Moran's opera, The Manson Family. She was one of the soloists on Robert Fripp's album "Exposure".   In 1998 she put out a solo CD, "The Sound of a Tree Falling". Terre collaborated with jazz pianist Garry Dial on the 2008 release "Us an'Them", a collection of national anthems from around the world featuring musicians from the countries all of whom were living in New York City.   From 2002 to the present, Terre has led the popular "Sunset Singing Circle", a Battery Parks City sponsored singalong which takes place in May and June.
