Now, a best-selling author and actress, she frequently appears in horror and fantasy films, preferring to do her own stunts.   Besides creating 2 feature films, Tara co-authored a novel with fantasy novelist, Alex Bledsoe, based on the Red Reaper characters. In talks to do a short-run comic series for both properties, she released an ashcan version of Red Reaper at San Diego Comicon.
