The men in the last days will be boasters, arrogant, and blasphemers of God and of people.

The men of the last days will be lovers of self. They will be lovers of money..

Paul begins to describe the last days. What does Paul mean when he says the last days?

The people who oppose the truth are trapped by the devil. They have been taken captive. They can come to their senses and escape.

The character trait of gentleness. Gentleness is a key to bring a person to the knowledge of the truth.

The traits of a bond-servant of Christ are mentioned here. They are they are kind, able to teach and patient when wronged.

Do not argue with foolish and ignorant people. It will only cause a fight.

Run away from youthful lust. Run toward righteousness, faith love and peace. Run with those who are running that way.

In the church there are some vessels of honor and dishonor. Every one can be a vessel of honor. Everyone can be useful to the Master.

We have a firm foundation. It will not move. We are sealed with the seal of ownership. We belong to the Lord and should abstain from wickedness.

Paul teaches Timothy to avoid words that will destroy you. These are words that are worldly and empty. They are teachings that are not based on the Word of Truth

Paul gives Timothy and other teachers a command , work hard at being approved and at the way you handle the Word of God. Cut straight with the Word of God.
