We put the word of Christ in us by teaching and by being admonished by our through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. This will make us thankful.

We must let the Word of Christ dwell in us. The word of Christ is His teachings. We need to live as Jesus lived. Then we will live in His wisdom.

We must let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. It is our decision to allow His peace which has been given to us to rule over our hearts.

We need to love each with a unconditional love. That is what holds us together in unity.

We need to bear with or lift up one another. We also need to forgive and get rid of every complaint that we have against someone. This is how God has forgiven us.

We need to put on in our hearts what God has already given us. That is gentleness and patience.

We need to take what is in us and put it on like clothing in our hearts. These things are compassion, kindness and humility

When we are in Christ, we are God's chosen or favored one, we are holy and we are in His beloved family.

Refreshing is in our thinking. There is no distinction that limits a person from the refreshing that comes when our new self changes the way we think.

We have laid aside the old self and have already put on the new self. Now we need to work on our minds so we can be in the image of Christ.

We must put aside the things that we are no longer bound to. Things like anger, wrath, malice, slander and abusive speech and lying.

It is important that every believer keeps in mind where we were and what we were destined to. It keeps us humble, grateful and non-judgemental

The wrath of God will come because of the sins that the unbelievers have committed. The wrath of God will never come upon those who believe.

By considering yourself as dead to the flesh you can live in victory over things like pornography, homosexuality greed and all evil desire.

The reward we get for seeking and setting our minds on things above is we will share with Christ in His glory when He returns!

We can walk in victory because of what has already happened. We have died to our carnal flesh and we are hidden in Christ.

In order to walk in the victory that we already have we must discipline of minds. We set them on the things above.

Because of what has already happened, we need to seek the things that are above where Christ is seated in the place of authority.

The principles of the world are a bunch of do not's that come from self made religion, false humility and severe treatments of our bodies. They do not help us.

Because we have died with Christ we are no longer bound to principle of the world. So why do we still subject ourselves to them?
