Epaphras was an Gentile but Paul recognizes him as an amazing man of prayer. He was the founder of the church at Colossae.

Justus is another member of Paul's team. Paul tells us what his team did, they encouraged him. Paul did not stand alone in his ministry.

Paul introduces us to other members of his team, Aristarchus and Mark. These were important people to Paul.

Paul sent 2 men to the Colossians. Tychicus and Onesimus. Paul trusted both of them with his letter and with the information about his life.

Paul trusted Tychicus with this letter. Paul loved Tychicus and knew he was faithful and a servant and a bond servant of the Lord.

Our conversations with unbelievers need to be sprinkled with kindness and then we can response to them.

We need to make the most or redeem every opportunity to reach people with the Gospel

In the next few devotions we will look at the way that we need to present ourselves to an unbeliever. First is with wisdom.

We need to pray for each other that doors will open to bring the Gospel to those who have not believed.

We must give ourselves diligently to prayer, make prayer our business. Then we will be alert to what is happening and we will give thanks.

Employers are to treat their employees with justice and fairness. Fairness is not equality but treating they according to the way they work.

Everyone will receive their reward for how they serve. Believers who serve wholeheartedly will receive their inheritance. Unbelievers will also receive consequences of their wrong.

No matter where you are working, do it with all your heart. Do it as if you are serving Christ. Because that is who you represent.

Do not just be an eye slave or someone that is doing eye service when your employer is watching. Service them with sincerity.

We can compare slaves to employees today. We must obey those who employ us.

Fathers never cause anger to be stirred up in your children by the way you treat them. This will cause them to lose heart.

Children obey your parents. Obedience is a character trait that will help you through the rest of your lives. Obedience toward parents pleases the Lord.

Paul writes to husbands and tells them to love their wives with a unconditional and giving love. Husband never get embittered toward your wives.

Wives are to subject themselves and not husband demanding their subjection. This is how we subject ourselves to Christ.

Everything we do should come under the authority of His name. His authority or lordship over us will determine our words and actions.
