Hold fast to Jesus out of love for Him. This will cause you to be supplied and held together with the members of Christ's Body. Together the Body will grow!

These are the thieves that try to rob you false humility, worship of angels, standing on visions and an inflated carnal mind.

Your prize is your salvation and there are persons, philsophies and religions that are trying to rob you of what you already have.

Do not let anyone judge you because your salvation has already been paid for. They are following shadows but you have the real thing.

Jesus has disarmed rulers and authorities. They have no weapon that can harm our spirit man! The resurrection has displayed or shown us that!

Our forgiveness comes because our debt has been nailed to the cross. All the decrees or curses have been canceled. We are free!

We were once dead and living in our carnal flesh. But now we are alive in Christ. All of our mistakes or sins have been forgiven!

Our body of carnal flesh has been buried with Christ and we have been raised with Him. This has already taken place but our faith to needs activate it.

Our body of the flesh has been cut off from us. We do not need philosophy or deception to help us.

In Him we were made complete. In our spirits there is nothing lacking. We do not need worldly philosophy and deception.

The reason for not being captive is that in Christ all the fulness of God dwells and he is in us.

We must make sure that we are not taken captive with philosophy and deception. We should be taken captive by Christ and His Word.

We are firmly rooted, built up and established in faith. This is already done in our spirits.

We received Christ by faith and that is the way we walk in Him. We have already firmly rooted so we need to walk in faith.

Even though Paul has never been to Colossae He is rejoicing over them in his spirit. You can make your pastor rejoiced!

We need to know that all wisdom and knowledge starts with Christ. This will keep us from being deceived by persuasive arguments.

Paul tells us that knowing the mystery of Christ in us is where we can find the hidden treasures of all knowledge and wisdom.

When we know the mystery of Christ in us we come into a deeper relationship with Christ Himself.

Preaching the gospel is a struggle. That means it is a contention or a fight. Paul fights so that men can be encouraged.  

Paul labors or works hard at his ministry but he does not do it in his strength but in the Christ's power.
