It is the responsibility of the church to restrain this lawlessness. We do that by speaking truth. By speaking the Gospel. That is that mankind has sinned and that Jesus died for our sin.

Paul teaches us what the mystery of lawlessness is. It is not submitting to the Lordship of Jesus. It was what the Anti-Christ will increase.

The church is restraining this lawless man. That is our responsibility until Jesus comes to take us away. The anti-Christ will not be revealed until the church has gone home.

He will oppose all known gods. Then he will set himself up as god over the earth. He will take his seat in the temple in Jerusalem.

In the midst of worldwide lawlessness a man will arise. He is called the man of lawlessness or the son of destruction. His goal is to destroy everything that is good and holy.

Let no one deceive you about the return of Christ. Before the return of Christ, we will see a worldwide opposition to authority. This is what apostasy means.

We should not let things we hear cause us fear in an alarming way. These things can come form demons or by people through messages and letters.

We should not be quickly shaken in our minds by teaching about the return of Christy. We should know the truth about His return.

We want the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be glorified and when it is we are glorified.

Paul prays for the believers that God would count them worthy of their calling, fulfill their desire for good and work of faith with power.

Hell will be a place without God's presence and glory. Jesus is glorified in His holy one. We will marvel at all those who are saved and believed the gospel.

The penalty to those who do not know God and did not obey the gospel will be eternal destruction. There will be no escape.

God is going to bring judgment on the earth to those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel.

God is going to take revenge on those who afflict you. This will happen when Jesus returns. He will give you relief.

What are the indications of God's judgement of righteousness in your life. Is your faith working and love growing. What does God really say about you?

Faith and love bring perseverance or the ability to stand under pressure. It does not matter what is happening around you.

Your faith and love are given to you by God. It is your responsibility to release it so that others can be benefitted.

The grace and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ is not affected by the persecution going on in the city.
