Run away from immorality because it will destroy your body. Your body was bought with a price so use it to glorify God.

Our bodies are not meant for immorality but for the Lord. Paul confronts immorality.

What is you body for? There are things that are lawful but they do not profit you and they can master you.

What makes us different than an unbeliever? It is not our action. It is what we believe! We are washed, sanctified and justified.

What is the great difference between a righteous person and a unrighteous person? Do not be deceived! There is a great difference

Should a believer sue another believer in court? What should they do? Be wronged? Be defrauded?

Paul teaches on the problem of believers taking other believers to court. This is a poor witness.

Paul tells the Corinthians not to associate with so called brothers who continue in sin. Paul differentiates between our association with unbelievers and people who call themselves believers.

Paul told the Corinthians to celebrate the feast or the Lord's Supper without leaven but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Paul then tells the Corinthians who they should be associating with.

Paul used yeast or leaven to teach the Corinthians about the effects of sin in the church. Get the leaven out. Then he tells them that they are without leaven because Jesus is their Passover.

Paul is going to do his part in dealing with this man. He will remove him in spirit from the church. He did this to save this man's spirit.

Paul begins to deal with the Corinthian church about the sin they are allowing. The arrogance of the church has kept them from dealing with this immoral man.

Paul sends Timothy to tell the Corinthians how he lives and what he teaches. Paul tells them that he is coming to see the power of those who are arrogant.

Paul tells us in verse fourteen through twenty-one about spiritual fatherhood. This is important because Paul is going to bring discipline to the Corinthian church.

Paul uses irony here to get the Corinthians to think. He then tells them of the reality of his life and ministry.

Paul and Apollos have judged themselves by Christ's standard of judgment. They tell the people to no go beyond and judge others. Paul asks three questions in verse seven to get the Corinthians to think of themselves and not be arrogant.

We should not pass judgment on some one else. The Lord will judge them. He will judge the things hidden in darkness and he motives of their heart

Paul talks about being a trustworthy steward and about examination. We should be examined by nothing but the Lord.

Paul tells the Corinthians how he wants them to regard himself and others. As servant of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

The second thing that we should not allow is boasting in men. Everything belongs to the church. Every minister and ministry. The church belongs to Christ. Christ belongs to God.
