I love the story of Joseph in the Bible and how he found the greater purpose that God had for His life. Genesis 45:4–5: “And Joseph said to his brothers, ‘Please come near to me.’ So they came near. Then he said: ‘I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. But now, do not therefore be grieved nor angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.'” What might be God's greater purpose for your life today?

Are you a worry wart? A worry wart is One who worries excessively or unnecessarily. Jesus said this; Luke 12:22–24: “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?'”

Jesus gave His followers wise advice when He said in Matthew 16:10 - “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." The days we're living in are challenging. Let's follow this truth today.

In today's episode I share some passages where some of God's strongest people pour out their complaint to God. God wants you to be honest with Him. He wants you to speak your mind and heart. If you are angry or upset about a situation express your feelings. Share your grief and your concerns. Get them out of your mind and into prayer. Trust the outcome to Him.

Joseph experienced some challenges in his life, but God was with him, and grew him into the man God called him to be. Be faithful today even in the difficulties and trials you face.

Jesus said; "In as much as you've done it unto the least of these, you've done it unto me." Are you grateful for Jesus love for you.... His death on the cross for your sins... His preparation of a place for you in heaven? Focus today on serving the least of these in you community and in so doing, you'll be a blessing to Him.

I love the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 2:1–2: “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” Make that your mission today!

A refuge is defined as a shelter or protection from danger or distress,a place that provides shelter or protection. Deut. 33:27 says; God is our refuge and His everlasting arms are under you. Enjoy today me sharing Charles Spurgeon's devotion on this verse and rest in His refuge and arms today.

How do you see yourself today? More important, how does God see you today. Romans 5:1 says this, Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Justified... Just-As-If-I'd-Never-Sinned. Live in the truth and grace today.

Have you ever wrestled with God? I know I have but in today's episode we're going to talk about Jacob and his wrestle with God. The result of that wrestle was a blessing. Be encouraged today even in those times of struggle. One of my favorite quotes from one of my Bible college professors, Dr. Mark Cambron, was "the testing before the blessing."

Moses gave some encouraging words to Joshua who was to be his successor; "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Yes there are things today that can provoke fear and discouragement, but God is with us and says; "Do not."

We are so very blessed by our God. Enjoy a reading today of The Beatitudes. Soak them in and then give them out. Love you all.

Jesus said; "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Abundant life is our legacy. Trust Him today for that precious gift.

Nehemiah 8:10 says, "The Joy of the Lord is my strength." May His joy overflow you in your life no matter what the circumstances you're facing.

Romans 15:2 says;  "Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification." How can you be a blessing to your neighbors today. Make that your mission today.

In Matthew 25:33 Jesus said; ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ I dedicate this episode to a dear friend Monte, who entered yesterday into the joy of His Lord. Thank God for faithful friends.
