Morning Manna

Galatians 6:9 says; "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Are you feeling tired... exhausted... depleted... I hope today's Morning Manna will encourage you to finish strong.

In today's episode I share the lyrics of two great songs that have always brought me peace in troubled times. I hope they do the same for you today and especially all who are dealing with Hurricane Ian. Be blessed!

Jesus said; "... lift up your eyes and look unto the harvest." May I encourage us all to have eyes and a heart for sharing the good news of the gospel today. Look for those opportunities to plant seed, cultivate what's already been planted, and ready to harvest when ready.

A dear friend posted this on Facebook - “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” Philippians 2:4 So thankful for a church that reached out to see if I needed hurricane prep help. Look for opportunities today to be a blessing to others. Pray for those in the path of Hurricane Ian.

Let's talk today about our amazing Sheperd... Jesus. He is a good and faithful sheperd who know just what we need today. Trust Him!

John 3:36 says; "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." That's a big but for sure... but the wrath of God abides on Him. Do you believe in Jesus? Have you trusted Him and Him alone for your salvation? Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

One of the most important parts of our relationship with God, is our honesty and transparency about our sin. God makes this promise to us in 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let's come clean today and everyday.

I love 1 Corinthians 2:9 - "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." Can you imagine what God has for you today? Can you live in this incredible promise?

"From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." Our help comes from the Lord! Lift up your eyes off the screen today and turn your eyes upon Jesus.
