I share some thoughts today on a powerful truth I was reminded of while watching Season 3 Episode 1 of The Chosen. James 1:22-25 says this - "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does." Today... let's Do It!

Jesus said; "And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two." Do you go the extra mile? Are you satisfied with good enough. Let's go above and beyond today in our service to others.

I love what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12 - My strength is made perfect in weakness. For when I am weak, then I am strong. That my friend is a paradox but one of power. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

I love what David reminds us about God in Psalm 121. He is our helper, our keeper and our preserver. Trust Him today.

Matthew 5:14-16 says this - “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Let's shine for Him today!

Deuteronomy 33:27 says; The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms..." We all need someone to lean on and my encouragement to you and I is to lean on Jesus today. Secondly, be available to someone else in your circle of friends, who may need you to lean on too.

I loved this little chorus I learned as a child - "I woke up this morning feeling fine I woke up with heaven on my mind I woke up with joy in my soul cause I knew my Lord had control." Enjoy a reading of Psalm 108 today as David said; "I will awaken the dawn!"

It's December 1st and I love Christmas music and of course, "Joy To The World." But today on Morning Manna, let's talk about joy to "My" world.
