Morning Manna

Did you ever have a secret place or a hiding place growing up... a place where you felt safe and protected? David had a secret place and he talks about it in Psalm 91 and we have that same place today. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Psalm 87:7 says this; Both the singers and the players on instruments say, “All my springs are in you.” I loved visiting so many springs growing up in Florida. They were places of refreshment, beauty, coolness and joyful. God has a spring for you today. Enjoy His presence and be refreshed and renewed today.

It's great to be comforted by God... right? But think about this... there is something about comfort that cannot be fully realized until it is shared with someone else. So... Pass It On!

Hosea 10:12 says; Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. When a fireman enters into a burning structure seeking to rescue, he say out loud; "Fire Department Call Out!" I can hear our Heavenly Father saying to us today; "Call Out." May I encourage you to call out to Him today. He knows what you need and His desire is to meet that need today.

Psalm 81:10 says; “I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.” This was George Mueller's favorite verse in the Bible. He said this about it - "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety. Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible . . . Faith begins where man’s power ends."

It so easy during struggles to forget God's blessings and his provision for you in the past. There's such powerful admonition in God's Word to remember what He has done. Focusing on that will take you through the most difficult of times. So today... Remember!
