Are you listening to God today? What is He saying. I love the story of young Samuel - “Therefore Eli said to Samuel, ‘Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, “Speak, LORD, for Your servant hears.”’ So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Then the LORD came and stood and called as at other times, ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ And Samuel answered, ‘Speak, for Your servant hears.'” Open your ears to Him today.

1 Samuel 2:1–2 says; “And Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. No one is holy like the LORD, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.'” What a powerful woman of faith Hannah is. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

God is our Rock and so much more. Listen to this... 2 Samuel 22:2–4: “And he said: ‘The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.’” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Jobe 13:15 says this... "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." Whatever you and I are facing today that could be challenging or even discouraging... yet whatever... we will choose to trust Him today. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

In today's episode I share a reading with you of Psalm 103. Often our focus is on God blessing us. Today, let our focus be on blessing Him today.

What do you need help from God for today? 2 Chronicles 20:4 says, “So Judah gathered together to ask help from the LORD; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.” They were surrounded by three armies and needed help so they asked God. What help do you need to ask God for today?

Psalm 119:11 says; Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Hiding God's Word in our hearts is powerful. How do you do that... by memorizing scripture. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Did you know that there are absolutes? We find them in God's Word... the Bible. Without that foundation and compass we are in trouble as individuals and as a nation. Judges 17:6 says; “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” They were creating their own truth and thus created chaos. In today's episode I'm going to share a powerful experience about prayer on two of my rideshare drives yesterday. There is power in prayer! Acts 12:5,7 says; “Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church . . . Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, ‘Arise quickly!’ And his chains fell off his hands.” Let's talk about that on today's Morning Manna.

Psalm 126:5–6: “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” There is no harvest without sowing and even in difficult times of tears, there will still be a harvest. Let's sow today in whatever situation we're experiencing and enjoy the harvest that will come.

Remember that 1966 song, "Feeling Groovy?" Slow down you move to fast... Proverbs 19:11 says; “The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression.” Road rage has become a big problem in our world. How can we be more slow to anger? Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

2 Chronicles 31:20–21says, “Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the LORD his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.” Do you want to prosper? In today's episode I read over you Psalms 29. Listen to His voice. His voice is powerful, loving and guiding. Have a blessed day!

Have you ever messed up? Sure... we all have. Nehemiah 9:17 says, "...But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness, and did not forsake them." What ever our mess up is, God is there with these five things.

Joshua 24:15: “And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” What's your choice today?

Titus 2:11-12 says;  "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age." God's grace is amazing. God's grace saves and His grace keeps. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
