Morning Manna

Isaiah 64:4 - “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.” Are you in the waiting? I know it can be tough but let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

The Bible is full of truth but the one I want to share with you today is this... Proverbs 14:34: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

One of the quotes I learned in Bible college was this... "The Testing Before the Blessing." Proverbs 17:3 says, “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the hearts.” Let's talk about the testing today on Morning Manna.

Galatians 5:13-15 says this... "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!" On this Fourth of July day... let's have this balanced focus of both liberty and love.

Psalm 147:3–4: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.” Indeed our God is astronomical in His power to create and power to heal. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Let's talk about manna on today's episode. Exodus 16:31says this about it... “And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.” For four decades God provided this amazing food six days a week. What manna will you and I take in today?

I love what we read in Jude 1:24 - “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” Meditate on this verse today and experience exceeding joy. Let's talk about this on today's Morning Manna.

I learned a little song as a child about the... B.I.B.L.E. yes that's the book for me. I stand alone on the word of God, the B.I.B.L.E. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Let's talk about that book on today's Morning Manna.

Have you ever heard the saying... "First things first"? 1 Timothy 2:1–2 says; “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

How content are you right now? Think about it... I just ate a bowel of oatmeal and dressed up in jeans and a long sleeve shirt. Should I already be content? 1 Timothy 6:7–8 says this... “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.” YES... I am content!
