The Indescribable Redeeming Love of God
26/05/2018 Duration: 39minRecently, I sat down with someone I had not seen in nine years. This dear friend of mine has been a gift since we were small children. Whenever we are together, we pick back up like no time at all has passed us by. He agreed to record a podcast with me, and that conversation is here for you to enjoy. We're both hugely appreciative for the redemptive love of God - how it rescued us, set us free, and placed us both on the road of ministry. It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to John Tuohy, my nephew, my dear friend, my fellow Christ-follower. Psalm 107:2 "Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out! Pretending to be Perfect
21/04/2018 Duration: 29minC.S. Lewis says in his book, Mere Christianity, “The command 'Be ye perfect' is not idealistic gas. Nor is it a command to do the impossible. He is going to make us into creatures that can obey that command. …If we let Him — for we can prevent Him, if we choose — He will make the feeblest and filthiest of us into a god or goddess, a dazzling, radiant, immortal creature, pulsating all through with such energy and joy and wisdom and love as we cannot now imagine, a bright stainless mirror which reflects back to God perfectly. His own boundless power and delight and goodness. The process will be long and in parts very painful; but that is what we are in for. Nothing less. He meant what He said.' When God commands us to be perfect, He is not telling us to fake it, till we make it. He isn’t commanding us to be something on our own - He is offering to being us to a place of oneness with Him that we cannot accomplish on our own. A lot of us try to be perfect in the areas that it matters most in our lives. In this s

"Education is the Science of Relation" Workshop 2017
12/10/2017 Duration: 47minRelationship is a powerful force. In this workshop, we’re going to explore the connection between relationship and education. Charlotte Mason said, "Education is the science of relation." She also said… "Education is a life; that life is sustained on ideas; ideas are of spiritual origin, and that we get them chiefly as we convey them to one another. The duty of parents is to sustain a child's inner life with ideas as they sustain his body with food." and … "Every day, every hour, the parents are either passively or actively forming those habits in their children upon which, more than upon anything else, future character and conduct depend."

The Art of Narration and Copywork
28/09/2017 Duration: 40minThe art of narration or telling back doesn’t come naturally for many children. It doesn’t come naturally for a lot of us moms, either! It doesn’t fit well with our instant gratification and convenience driven culture...especially if we were raised in a classroom where you listened to lectures, filled in blanks, and took tests. But don’t give up! It truly is worth learning! The more you invest in something, the more rewarding it is!
