Burdens are heavy.  That is no secret. But what can I help someone else carry VS what they have to carry for themself? What weight am I under that I have to carry VS what Jesus can carry for me? The weight of “must carry” can only find rest by learning to carry like Jesus. Jesus does not always take the weight away,  sometimes He offers a way to carry. The Holy Spirit does not want any blood bought son or daughter of the living God, through faith in Jesus, to be wondering whether they’re in the family or not. And just as sure as you can know if you are in the family, you can know if you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8 gives us indicators and experiences that every Holy Spirit filled Christian can identify or evaluate in their own life. Am I saved? That's a question so many people wrestle with. And the way you live and think can be an indicator of whether or not the Holy Spirit dwells within you. Living in the Spirit has certain rewards. But living in the flesh has inevitable consequences. Where and how we spend our time greatly varies from one person to the next.  Full time mom's schedules and skillsets look vastly different from that of a full time mechanic.  But there is one place where we all come together.  Every person who carries the name of Jesus bears a common calling.  Our Greatest Calling. The law can define righteousness. The law can demand righteousness. But the law cannot deliver change because the law isn't the problem. I am.
