Roseandcast: The Roseandblog Podcast

On the 5th episode of the Roseandcast, we sit down in a little room on the ground with Julia Rich, manager of the band, The Roofer's Union and some upcoming artists over at Mom+Pop, and talk about burgers, mixed media, visual rock bands, and the most important album of her life, "Plastic Beach" by Gorillaz. This episode opens with the track "Stylo (feat. Mos Def & Bobby Womack)," and closes with "Superfast Jellyfish (feat. Gruff Rhys & De La Soul)," both off of "Plastic Beach" by Gorillaz.

Though released today, two weeks after our last episode's guest, Andrew Nietes, this 4th episode to the Roseandcast was actually recorded two minutes after the last, as we continue sitting and have a conversation with Andrew and our co-host Tom Dziuba's third roommate and our good friend, Devin McNulty, a singer/songwriter, and member of a rap/R&B trio called The Concrete Royalty, of which I am also a part of, and talk about songs you write when you're younger, childhood rivalries, a cappella music, and the most important album of her life, FutureSex/LoveSounds by Justin Timberlake.

On the 3rd episode of the Roseandcast, we go to Tom's apartment, our co-host, and sit down with his roommate and our good friend, Andrew Nietes, a concert bassoonist and future entertainment lawyer, and talk about karaoke, your first instrument, teen angst, advocating for and protecting the rights of musicians, and the most important album of his life, "Speak for Yourself" by Imogen Heap. This episode opens with the track "Hide & Seek," and closes with a live version of "Just For Now," both off of "Speak for Yourself" by Imogen Heap.
