  • Run with Perseverance

    25/04/2021 Duration: 34min

Hebrews 12:1-3 - 12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

  • Unbelief

    04/04/2021 Duration: 39min

John 20:29 - What changes Unbelief to Belief is an encounter with the resurrected Jesus. We may not have physically seen HIM, but we have experienced HIM through the Scripture, other believers, or answered prayer, etc. This Easter as we focus on the resurrected Jesus remember the words Jesus said to his disciples, “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”

  • Wonderfully Known

    27/12/2020 Duration: 54min

Psalm 139:1-6 - God hedges in His own for the purpose of protection (“behind and before),”. This thought receives further amplification in: “You have laid Your hand upon me.” The placement of the divine hand signifies protection and blessing. This knowledge of God discerns and discriminates “in favor” of those who are loyal to the Lord. God is actively involved in our lives. This is beyond our grasp, our understanding. Not only is God involved in our lives, but we also cannot escape HIS presence.

  • Stable

    20/12/2020 Duration: 48min

Luke 2:7 - Everything about Jesus’ birth points to poverty, obscurity, and rejection. One couldn’t have much more of a meager beginning. With His beginning one couldn’t have much prospect for the future. Mary, very much alone, wrapped baby Jesus herself and laid him in the manger. We embrace the nativity scene and marvel at Jesus’s birth. In reality, Jesus’ birth is totally bizarre. Yet, millions have been martyred because they would rather die than renounce Jesus. There is a lesson here. Understanding Jesus’ birth helps us understand the work of God. This humble birth reveals the very nature and character of God.

  • Be Still

    13/12/2020 Duration: 45min

Psalm 46:1-3 - Psalm 46:1–3 (ESV) 1 God is our refuge and strength, “a very present help” in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah These are great words for us, in these times of upheaval, uncertainty, and fear. By proclaiming in the worst-case scenario of the world in extreme turmoil by the earth giving way and the mountains falling into the depth of the sea, we are then encouraged not to have any fear. The reason we do not fear in these tumultuous times is because, “God is a very present help.” As God’s people, there is not any reason to fear.

  • Book of Remembrance

    27/09/2020 Duration: 43min

Malachi 3:16 - God pays attention and hears those who speak together about their awe of the LORD. Isn’t that incredible! This means that when we speak to one another about the LORD, God pays attention and hears us! God pays attention and hears us because we are those who fear the LORD meaning we are those who are in awe of HIS Power, Truth, and Majesty. God sees us as those who esteem HIS NAME over every other name. Therefore, God writes our name in HIS Book of Remembrance!

  • Speak!

    20/09/2020 Duration: 52min

Zechariah 8:23 - Why would someone grab hold of you and say, “We have heard God is with you.” Evidently, they saw or heard something about you that manifest the presence of God. In the darkness God’s people are the light. Where there are no answers the church has answers. Note what people are “not” saying: You are so smart; you are so educated; you are so talented; you are so charismatic. However, they are saying, “We have heard that God is with you.” This is the work of God, initiated by God and mediated through his people.

  • Beware

    13/09/2020 Duration: 36min

Jeremiah 15:4 - God told Jeremiah that irreversible wrath had been determined on Judah because of the unspeakable evil done by the previous evil King Manasseh. After the evil King Manasseh died, we had the good King Josiah, but it didn’t make any difference because the evil of Manasseh had permeated society and things reached a point of no return. Nothing was left but the irreversible wrath of God.

  • More Than Talk

    06/09/2020 Duration: 51min

2 Kings 19:35 - As we look at all the nonsense in this world plus the difficult things, we face every day, it is good to know God is more than talk. Hezekiah believed God was more than talk. In 2 Kings 19:35 shows God’s faithfulness to answer Hezekiah’s prayer for deliverance. However, where did this start and what can we learn from it? For Hezekiah it all starts with a ruthless attack by the Assyrian Empire. Important: This is not only an attack on Judah but an attack on God. Anti-God attacks will always lift up man and government above God.

  • Hear the Words

    30/08/2020 Duration: 50min

2 Chronicles 34:19 - None of the kings of Judah had the zeal for the “Word of God” like Josiah. Hezekiah had been unequaled in faith among the kings, but Josiah had no rival in his devotion to the Word of God. A godly mother and a devoted man of God had a tremendous impact on this young man.

  • My Portion

    23/08/2020 Duration: 50min

Lamentations 3:24 - Hope knows that every morning God pours out HIS fresh love and mercy on us. As with Jeremiah, this truth impacts every area of our life, emotion, and relationship. We receive this refreshing every morning because our heart and mind are set on God to receive. We look to God because HE is our portion in life and not the things of this world. Our portion is God and God alone.

  • Fallow Ground

    12/07/2020 Duration: 52min

Hosea 10:12 - Fallow Ground means Unplowed Ground. Therefore, we need to break up the unplowed ground and seek new growth, the new things of the LORD. This is necessary to experience the things God has for us that are yet untouched. The tasks of breaking up unplowed ground is within our capability and our responsibility.

  • My Journey

    05/07/2020 Duration: 36min

    - Sharing what God has been teaching me these last number of years.

  • Praise and Worship

    28/06/2020 Duration: 38min

    - The Bible encourages us to join together in Praise and Worship. And there is power there. True Praise and Worship does battle in the Heavenly Realm.

  • Those Who Guard

    21/06/2020 Duration: 43min

Habakkuk - Appropriate for today as we ask, “LORD what is going on?” After talking to God about everything that is bothering him, Habakkuk goes to his Watchpost to hear God’s answer. The word Watchpost literally means, “Those Who Guard” or “obligation to guard”. As “One Who Guards” Habakkuk wanted to know what God was doing! Thus, he revealed a mature wisdom in his determination that “any response” should be shaped by what God himself would say.

  • Fully Informed

    14/06/2020 Duration: 50min

  • OnlyOneFault

    24/05/2020 Duration: 42min

Daniel 6:5-27 - Daniel gives an example that we should be the best citizens, the best employees, and the best neighbors possible, yet standing fast having “only one fault” that we worship the One True God. As we saw last week in the Fiery Furnace and this week in the Lion’s Den, God moves on behalf of HIS people. We are special in God’s sight. However, it is often through the Fiery Furnace and the Lion’s Den that God will use us to bring HIM glory.

  • AltarOfGovernment

    17/05/2020 Duration: 40min

Daniel 3:15-28 - Christians have a higher authority than government. This is why those demanding worship at the Altar of Government hate Christianity. Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury, and the expression of his face was changed when faced with believers who would not worship at his altar. But an absolute truth is that in all circumstances: Jesus is always in the fire with us!

  • New Heart and New Spirit

    10/05/2020 Duration: 36min

Ezekiel 36:26-27 - John 3:16 is a beautiful verse proclaiming God’s love, our forgiveness of sin through Jesus, and our eternal home in heaven. But also, this verse proclaims receiving the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Receiving the Holy Spirit was not a side issue with Jesus. Receiving the Holy Spirit is central to being able to live out our Christian life with authority and power.
