Speakup! Prevention Coalition

This podcast is brought to you by the SpeakUP! Prevention Coalition. SpeakUP, based in Lake Forest, IL, is operated by LEAD and works to significantly reduce alcohol, marijuana, and prescription/over-the-counter drug use by youth.

In 2010, the SpeakUP! Prevention Coalition was awarded a federal Drug Free Communities grant. With members from across all sectors of the community, the coalition uses evidence based practices and a data-driven approach to achieve results.

This podcast will provide information about our grassroots efforts, the latest substance abuse prevention research, and resources by subject matter experts.
