Also, the Philadelphia Phillies sign Jim Thome to a one-year $1.25 Million deal. The 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup season is down to the final two races as points leader Carl Edwards, driver of car #99 for Jack Roush-Fenway Racing, had his lead cut down to 3 points by Tony Stewart after winning the previous race at Texas. The last 2 races could be nail biters. And the Hill Top Soccer Team has challenged the Hill Top Faculty to a soccer game. Following Halloween, Paul talks about the conclusion to a rough season for the Hill Top Soccer Team. Also, a preview of the Basketball Season for Hill Top, coming this winter. The NBA lockout is not looking too good at this point, as negotiations between the League and the Players Union continue to fall apart, one time after another. As the League remains locked-out, NBA players have gone overseas to play in Europe and Asia, until the lockout has ended. The St. Louis Cardinal (NL Central) are the 2011 World Champions of Baseball. Defeating the Texas Rangers (AL West) 4-3 in 7 games. Paul talks about how the Card's win in game 6 changed everything.
