Spring is about to have sprung and what better time for Audible Graffiti - Spring Edition. In this episode we talk baseball with former Atlanta Braves right-hander Greg McMichael and relive some of the great moments of the many championships teams of the 1990s of which Greg was a part. But we lead it off with the AJC's Chip Towers, who helps us put all the earth-shattering changes that have taken place at the Butts-Mehre building in the last weeks in perspective as only he can. Thunderstruck! Audible Graffiti is back with Vince & Pulpwood at their best talking Halloween, 007, notorious royals, and head-banging! Always full of surprises, who knew Vince was a Bond aficionado as well as a closet metalhead? But we lead it off with long-time award-winning AJC columnist Mark Bradley. Mark and Jeff discuss the Georgia coaching situation and how Georgia has been unable to cash in their ticket on the ultimate prize, and how that compares to the Braves and their long run of success with only a single championship. Then your eyes will cross as Mark and Jeff impress with incredible detail, memories of the greatest all-time NCAA basketball tourney games.

Pure Gold!  Almost all of our favorite sit-coms through the years eventually had a "Best Of" episode and with Georgia's off weekend, we thought of doing our own - literally a greatest hits of the first 8 episodes of Audible Graffiti with new commentary to add a little perspective on each story.  Little did we know this would take even longer than just producing a brand new episode. So its release is a little tardy, but here it is - and we think you will find that it's a nice look back OR it's a perfect first time episode for new listeners. It's been a gloomy week in Athens, but the sun is finally shining again and this week's episode of Audible Graffiti is just what you need to turn from the past and face the future. In this episode, Jeff first talks to Chris Brame, JD's co-host of their daily show The Home Team on Athens radio station 960 The Ref about the Bama game and Georgia fans expectations along with best all-time combo of same-night sports/music shows. Then we catch up and look ahead to Tennessee with the "Left-Hander", former Georgia QB and now sports media personality David Greene who shares some great memories from the "hob-nail boot" game as well as the 41-14 rout in 2003. But as an extra treat, David also shares some great stories of life in the pros as Tom Brady's backup at the Patriots. All in this week's episode of Audible Graffiti.

Then it's another installment with Audible Graffiti regular contributor Robby Kirk, this time with us in the studio to talk about the satisfaction of the South Carolina win, the Falcons, the great cities in the South, Todd Blackledge, and of course eating.  Finally, we catch up with UGA Men's Tennis Coach Manny Diaz about the Georgia tennis program, John Isner and his visit to the U.S. Open - all this week on Audible Graffiti!

Episode 03 Audible Graffiti brings to the Bulldawg Nation a fresh injection of Tech-bashing, first with new contributor Rob Sherrell who brings us memories of the 1980 Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville and a 1991 Atlanta Braves pennant-race road trip to Cincinnati. Then we look back 35 years to that National Championship team of 1980 once again as Jeff talks with Georgia football great Chris Welton who shares some classic memories of Herschel, Lindsay, Scott, Rex and the legendary defensive coach Erk Russell and more from that magical year. And finally, Vince & Pulpwood check in again from parts unknown and look back on Georgia’s week one victory, the upcoming sans Uga visit to Nashville, Caitlyn Jenner (wha? yes, Caitlyn Jenner)... and lastly, with Nashville coming up this weekend, Jeff pries into their preference for partying when it comes to country music legends.
