Episode 38 - Krystle WrightKrystle is one of Australia's most well known Adventure and Extreme Sports photographers and was one of the main inspirations for me to start this podcast. So I was super excited to sit down to chat with Krystle about her career! Krystle has worked with National Geograpghic, Canon, Outside Magazine, GQ, The Huffington Post and the list goes on. She's shot just about any adventure/extreme sport you can think of and she's chased storms through the American Mid West! Steve Scalone is a Melbourne based photographer who was done it all. Mark Watson is an Expedition/Adventure and sports photographer and all round ripping bloke who I have been trying to get on the show for a long time! We're back after a few weeks off and my guest on Episode 31 is Keren Dobia. Keren is a Melbourne based portrait photographer with a very unique style! Keren is a part of the AIPP and also teches photography at tafe. Our 2 extreme sports extraordinaires sat down for a chat and despite some "technical difficulties" and a back ground heckler, we got through it with some semi quality content. If you were lucky enough to get on a workshop with Mark and Charlie you'll know they have an interesting working relationship, but this is for sure, they both create insanely good action sports work and have done some super crazy stuff in their lives!You can find Mark Watson by searching @InciteImages and Charlie can be tracked down on instagram as @mountainside_cb

Cam has flown in from Tassie for his first BFOP experience and he has been a busy man, running sunrise, landscape and astro workshops Cam has definitely missed out on some sleep. Keren Dobia is another newcomer to the Festival who has had an absolute ball! Keren has been opening people eyes to the almost forgotten art of printing! In the digital age we seem to be forgetting to print our images! Keren has done an amazing job showing her workshop attendees what to look for when printing and how to go about getting the perfect print! Keren also takes pretty amazing photos, search for Keren Dobia Photography to see what I'm talking about. 

Here he is, the Godfather of BFOP Nick Fletcher. Nick has been out playing in the mud all day with the Dirt Bike workshops and it sounds like they were amazing! What's not to like about mud, dirt bikes, photography and a dude called Magoo????Nick gives us an insight as to what it's been like putting this event together and both he and Matt need to be thanked for putting this weekend together because it just keeps getting better and better every year!

Mr Olympus Karl Ludik gave me some time to chat about his Macro and Food workshops at the Festival and how much fun they have been, especially with all the ooooo and ahhhhh moments in the Macro workshops abd Karl really is one of the most passionate guys I've met!Obviously we also talk about what Olympus have on offer and it sounds like a fun month ahead so check out what Olympus have on offer and get into a Camera House in October for Olympus Month!

Adam Dyson is one of the awesome newcomers to the instructor list for this years festival and hes taking Astro and Waterfall workshops all weekend. We sit down for a chat about how conditions have been and how to handle challenging conditions especially when you are out shooting Astro. Adam runs workshops all over Victoria so keep an eye on Adam Dyson Photography and check out his podcast What The Focus? cause its an awesome listen as well!

JP is one of our food enthusiasts this year and is a local French resident of Bright. JP has been running some food photography workshops which sound absolutely delicious. He has been a part of the festival for the last 2 years but is now running his own so we find out about how that transition has gone and how he has seen the festival grow. Check out his work by searching for Image Writer Photography!!

James Alexander from Zephyr Productions is the video man this year and he's been showing people how to produce Hollywood quality video production on their phones!!! James is a ripping bloke who's been on the podcast before and it was great to catch up again at BFOP to hear how he went holding his first festival workshops with video production! Check out his work by searching Zephyr Productions!

What a privilege it was to have 2 of Australia's best wedding photographers here for a chat together! It's Nicks first time at the Festival and I caught up with him and the Veteran Anne Scott-Virtue! Nick has been running Making Something From Nothing workshops and Anne ran her highly demanded Wedding Workshop.
