The Denver Broncos hit a new rock bottom on Xmas Day in Los Angeles, with a checked out performance against the Rams. There were mistakes, penalties, and turnovers from the get-go. The lackluster showing continued throughout the game, resulting in heated confrontations on the field, on the sidelines, during and after the game. Hours after the game, this new Walton-Penner Ownership Group finally took action too little, too late, by firing Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett and starting in motion the Broncos search for their next Head Coach. The Denver Broncos got a well played efficient game from Backup QB Brett Rypien, a huge day on the ground from RB Latavius Murray, and another dominant performance from the Denver Defense to notch a team win at home. For the second week in a row, it was the Broncos making the correct half time adjustments, this time resulting in a victory. The Denver Broncos give a great effort and almost pull off the upset of the Chiefs. However, you had the feeling that if Wilson hadn't gotten knocked out of the game, the Broncos would've completed the upset. The Denver Broncos Defense laid a big egg against the Baltimore Ravens Backup QB Tyler Huntley on the Ravens final drive of the game, resulting in a close loss in Baltimore. While the offense is still a work in progress, which will likely stay that way until a new coach is in place. The Broncos Defense shows again it's great on the stat board until crunch time. The Denver Broncos had some positives from Sunday's Game against the Raiders, but even those positives couldn't overshadow all the mental errors made on this day. Most damaging was the inexcusable fumble by RB Melvin Gordon late in the second quarter when the Broncos were driving for the lead, that the Raiders recovered and returned for a touchdown. That momentum swing thanks to Gordon, lasted the rest of the contest.
