The Denver Broncos took the field in their first preseason game of 2023 and the first game as Broncos Head Coach for Sean Payton. The result was a hard fought game, with quite a few things to clean up as we move towards the regular season. The most glaring issues being the offensive line and place kicking game. It's clear he has a plan for winning and winning fast, while making sure the Broncos Facility is run as a winning culture without outside influence that may have existed in the past. The Denver Broncos came to play in the season finale, and for a majority of the game it was against the Chargers Starting Line-up after many expected Los Angeles to rest their starters. The result was a fun back and forth game that Denver, thanks to key plays on offense and defense pulled out in the closing moments. Russell Wilson the last two weeks of the season has looked like the Russ we expected, while our other big names that are still healthy (Jeudy, Simmons, Jewell to mention a few) came to close the season out in fashion. In the end, injuries and inconsistency stalled the Broncos upset attempt of the Chiefs at Arrowhead.
