He has been taking standard photos and videos of construction sites, and has now come up with a new technique to count anchor bolts at construction sites. He's developed this technique based on a drone mapping combination of Drone Deploy and Agremo. Yes, Agremo is marketed as an agricultural product, however Kyle has found a way to utilize it in his construction drone work. Very cool and innovative!

He has a connection with emergency management in Paris Tennessee, which has allowed him to access useful data to utilize in his app. There is 911 information, home values, colour of houses, and more, but the real value comes in his ability to create overlays. Roads, dropping pins, and damage assessments can be done in real time using Chris' augmented reality solution.

We also chat about what different kinds of coverages mean for you, and the type and frequency of claims that he has had.

Once a home has been shot, he sends the opportunity out to other installers who then bid on the job! Pretty awesome idea, isn't it?

If you check out his gallery, you'll see that he has a combo of some awesome photography skills combined with access to some world class locations! As we chat about drone photography, we get into shooting AEB (auto exposure bracketing) mode, and Mitchell's workflow after the shoot. A quick preview is that he's a big fan of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, and impressively doesn't use any of his own presets! He works through a photo from start to finish until it looks right, and will only break down and use a preset if he's completely strapped for time. Even though the Inspire 1 is an awesome machine, Alexander's go to drone is the Mavic Pro simply due to it's excellent portability. Even though he likes to fly the smaller drones, Sweden's drone rules are fairly relaxed and you can fly something up to 7kg without a permit! In this episode we chat about creating drone maps, for use in real estate and construction progress, as well as his favourite Polarpro filters. Alex is also working on building his own drone! He has an engineering background, so I asked him if designing and building a drone would be something that anyone could accomplish.
