Jack and Jeremy return to a game...a basketball game? That's right, Rain Delay Theater was in attendance at the United Center to see the one and only Chicago Bulls take on the Brooklyn Nets. There's plenty to talk about as the guys dive head first into Social Media Night, including lending their faces to a 3D CGI basketball dunking video (for real), photobombing the Bulls pregame show, and an awkward photo op in front of a video board. There's more goofy fans and a goofy usher to talk about, proving it just doesn't happen at baseball games. Let's face it, the guys can find annoyances wherever they go. We hear some of Jeremy's thoughts about why basketball frustrates him and Jack recounts an overheard story about a girl who passed on the chance to hook up with Rob Gronkowski. All this and more as the guys return to live game action on Rain Delay Theater!

This week, Jack and Jeremy run down their lists of baseball's naughty and nice and equate players to good or bad Christmas gifts. Find out who is the equivalent of a hard to assemble Ikea shelf or who's like a gift card that is impossible to redeem. Along the way, the guys touch on the questionable Mariners trades of Robinson Cano and Jean Segura, Joe Maddon's son's controversial tweets, and the sage-like knowledge of Ken Rosenthal.

The offseason is upon us but Rain Delay Theater is back to help get you through the long winter! Jack and Jeremy discuss what they turn to in order to survive the offseason. The guys check in with recent baseball news, including the leaked Bryce Harper White Sox video display photo, the Kris Bryant on the trading block rumors, and the Rookie of the Year announcements. For the main event, the guys run down a list of surprising 1st Round Draft picks and discuss how and why they never panned out. The 2018 baseball season has come to an end and in honor of the World Series (and Steve Pearce), we run down the list of the last 10 World Series Champs and pick the worst player on each 25 man World Series roster! Sorry 2016 Cubs Brian Matusz, you weren't eligible for this one! You ever see a fringe major leaguer and think "THAT guy has a World Series ring?!?" Well those are the guys we're talking about this week! Before the main topic, the guys share their thoughts and a bleh fall classic, discuss Nathan Eovaldi folk hero, give Steve Pearce his props, and share a story of razzing Mike Glennon at a Cubs game in 2017. Jack and Jeremy are back this week to touch base on the end of the regular season, game 163, and the Cubs loss to the Rockies in the Wildcard game. Jeremy shares his thoughts about the torture it is to listen to a national broadcast call your team's playoff games, Jack weighs in with his thoughts about Willson Contreras and crying in baseball, and the guys look ahead to the rest of the playoffs and who they want to see in the World Series. Spoiler alert: Jack is rooting for the Brewers.

A last minute change of plans has Jack and Jeremy doing a 180 and heading north on the red line to Wrigley Field for Cubs/Pirates this week! Hear the story about how that happened and so much more! The guys finally encounter some goofballs in the crowd at Wrigley and a stressed out Jeremy is none too happy about it. Tune in to (or skip) a lengthy 14 minute rant that starts around the 1:03:00 minute mark. Jack and Jeremy also report on an awkward first date a couple rows in front of them, a kid who kept staring at Jack, and three wandering fans that just couldn't find their seats. Was this a White Sox crowd transported up north? Listen as the guys finally bring their vitriol to the Wrigley "fans" who seemed to be pretty oblivious that the Central Division is slipping away from the Cubs.

In this week's minisode, Jack and Jeremy assemble a team of 3rd tier superstars! So that means players who were good, but not-so-good. The main requisite for our selections was players could never have made an All-Star team. Jack and Jeremy head to Wrigley Field for an NL Central showdown this week and there was plenty of drama on and off the field! The intense game between the Cubs and Brewers served as a great backdrop to a couple of incidents in the stands as Jeremy finally almost comes to blows with an unruly, rowdy fan and maybe now they're sorta buds...? Jack angers a curmudgeonly season ticket holder with his Brewers enthusiasm. And Jeremy has another boneheaded event on his way to the field - one of dire magnitude that almost kept him from getting into the game! Tune in to hear all about it! This was an animated ep, as both Jeremy and Jack had A LOT invested in the game. In fact, the game analysis doesn't get cooking until about the 1:06:50 mark, so skip all the way to that if you want to go straight to the game talk. In a game that was marked on the calendars since Spring Training, Japanese baseball star Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels come to the southside to take on the White Sox! And Ohtani, torn UCL and all, delivered! Hear Jack and Jeremy recap the entire Ohtani Experience, including Jeremy getting on a Red Line train heading in the wrong direction out of pure overexcitement. The guys also discuss a final(?) pitiful ending to the Big Fly game on the video board for this season, they try to figure out if anyone is ever going to be the player to be named later in the Felix Pena trade, and we hear from a knowledgeable father who begs to differ with his kids' proclamation that Mike Trout is the best player in baseball. And one final chaotic and catastrophic parting shot to our White Sox trips this season takes place in the bathroom before heading home. Jack and Jeremy make their long awaited return to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field this week! In a first for the podcast, we find a Jeremy who's actually angry about baseball gameplay and not the fans...though, there's some of that too. We get a lengthy rant from him about Joe Maddon's bullpen and starting pitcher mismanagement. We hear a story from Jeremy about the late, great Yosh Kawano and a fake autograph ring perpetrated by himself, a childhood friend, and the friend's dad. The guys also talk about ballpark proposals, aisle etiquette, and some jerk who used the seats next to us as his own personal footstool. Jack and Jeremy head to Wrigley Field this week for the 2018 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game featuring the country's top high school stars! And the game did not disappoint, unfortunately, the unruly droves of inattentive, beer-sniffing little league parents did! Children running wild, adults behaving worse than the kids they paid so little attention to, and a put upon beer vendor whose knowledge of his own trade was being questioned right to his own face. These were some of the indecencies witnessed by the guys this week in the stands. Hear all about it in the animated, sailor-mouthed first half of the podcast (13:30). Before that, Jeremy has an unpleasant autograph seeking incident with a former MLB pitcher who was not having any of it (1:40). And finally, after addressing to the likes of "White T-Shirt Dad" and "Poodle Man", the guys moved their attention to the talent on the field and give their scouting reports on the numerous players in the game that could be potential 2019 MLB Draftees (36:45). The well never runs dry on the southside of Chicago and this week the guys meet, hands down, their biggest baseball weirdo to date - "The Informed Interloper"! Armed with a scorebook, an Oakland Athletics hat and lanyard, and a Yairo Munoz Cardinals shirsey, this ballpark oddball sidled his way next to Jack while Jeremy was up on his second dollar dog run of the game and what unfolded would be podcast fodder richer than Jack and Jeremy could ever dream of (8:24)! Hear all about our adventures with this uninvited guest, including a very human moment where the guys were forced to confront a fight or flight situation. Jack and Jeremy also chime in about the tv star of the game, "The Mustard Man", a couple of foul balls to a very sensitive area for Marcell Ozuna, and another Daniel Palka/Salsa mishap?
