 Good Monday to you. I hope you have plans for a better week than last week. I hope you are doing some things that will help you better understand the world, find some joy in the simple things and perhaps learn a few lessons about life and how we should live it And today I have a bit of a sad story. And those numbers up on top or about my sad story. But like every story from tragedy to victory there often times is a lesson if we're smart enough and aware enough to learn it and to apply it to our life. And here's the story. You will have bad times in your life. You may have many bad times in life. In fact you will have a lot of CRAP in your life and business. Well that's not the word that's the acronym for the kind of things you're going to experience in life from time to time. How do you survive all of that is the question that will affect a great deal of your life and your destiny. Ironically you will discover that there are some very good things that can come out of a different kind of CRAP in your life and business. What we hope to do in this brief little conversation is the introduce you to the bed stuff so that you can better recognize it and introduce you to the good stuff so that you can pursue it. You will never see that word nor hear it again without thinking of something that might be helpful to you seek meaning and true success and maybe even become a transformed person running a trans formed business and living a transformed and incredible life. I think it's well worth the 15 minutes,

Yes you do, and DAD has nothing to do with fatherhood or being one... It is an activity that you have to pay attention to. It's something you need to do if you want to live well. LivingWell is always hard to do because life is difficult and adversity is part of the plan and there will be a lot of pain in your life as well as a lot of joy and good things. But the good things have a better chance if you do DAD ... Here's just a part of the story and a demonstration from the daily news of Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

 Welcome to a variety of interesting ideas and a virtual Potpourri of transformational questions thoughts and ways to possibly change your life or be changed by something else.  .And as one wise piece of wisdom reminds us that a part of what we are all about is to bring new flavors in new colors into our life and into our world and in doing so we just might be the light of the world that helps change things and helps people to see and do and become new and better things And then we conclude with a story about a powerful and accomplished young woman who claims that the two word signature statement by Donald Trump truly transformed her life.  Do you know what that signature statement was. Do you have some signature statements of your own.  Maybe it's about time for you to come up with a few and we'll get you started on the road to seeing things that may lead to transformations.

We weren't really poor but sometimes we felt that way.  And of course those childhood things can very much influence who you are and how you become, And so today a little self-confession and perhaps a description of some of the things I would like to change in life.  I am sure that some of you will very much resonate with my story and some of you will agree and join me in my profession confession. Others will say, get over it Stan, who do you think you are and don't be so silly and old fashion. .Well since you're reading this it means you're probably not going to do what I said. You probably want to know where I'm going to tell the truck drivers. Well I'm going to tell them that sometimes I really admire their way of life and often wonder if maybe I should've been a truck driver myself And then I'm going to thank them because every day when they go to work they actually help somebody. Somebody's life is a little bit better because what they did that day.  And how many of us can say that. So in this 17 minutes this is a truck driver's tribute and salute and perhaps some questions about how you are living your life today and maybe you should make some changes starting now!

I am sure that that is a shocking title to some of you. But without the sarcasm or the toughness that it might imply, that's exactly what I'm telling myself and what I might share with you. Some people called this day silent Saturday because it seems like nothing happened and certainly nothing was said after all of the chaos commotion and death that took place on Friday. Maybe there's a great lesson there. We can start with Jesus on Friday and we can explore if we have time and wish some of the great teaching and the power of silence and stillness in living a good and powerful and effective life. So maybe what God wants us to do when things are difficult and perhaps even when they're rather easy just to stop being noisy and doing fast things. Maybe we should sit down, shut up, be still, and pray by listening rather than talking. This is our final lesson from the week. Tomorrow we celebrate going up.  It's another Friday flowing into the weekend of a very significant weekend that we call the Easter celebration.  And that celebration is about a claim that certainly qualifies for a transformation,  and this is another interesting ideas program specializing in the ongoing Transformation Project Podcast.  Today I would like to talk about a challenging mentor who often sought to help me with all of my new ideas and projects and ways that I wanted to change things and do things.  He asked the question that all of us should answer from time to time and maybe all the time about what we believe say do or seek to accomplish ... Does it matter?  Will it make a difference?  Will it do good? Will it help somebody else besides you? What do you think that could be about? Most of the big stuff about Good Friday is fairly well known by people who care. But there's a lot of other things that were going on and I want to point out just a few that might be interesting and significant for you. And let me tell you what I mean by TNGF and what really happened that might be even good about something said by all the people in the deal, the Romans themselves. I know you're busy but I think this 10 minutes could be very helpful and useful to you and give you something to think about which is what this whole season is all about. Thinking about you thinking about God and thinking about what to do. Blessings on you as you do that work!

Indeed I do. The recent tragedy of the Baltimore Bridge reminded me of something that I think about often. And I've had a bit of experience doing a lot of difficult work and difficult hours. So I'd like to just take a few minutes to talk about those dear people who make it possible for us to get a good nights rest because they don't. They work the graveyard shift and we should be grateful and thankful for them. This is my salute and this is my story.

We continue going down. And please remember that the people who are experiencing this at the time it happened had no idea of how the story is going to end. Jesus, through divine insight or just because he is such an incredible student of the human condition knows what's going down. And he doesn't like it one bit. He celebrates the pass over and has all of them perplexed as the king of the universe as they would hope gets down and acts like the loneliest of servants. What in the world is this all about. And then we go to dinner and my goodness what a strange toast. This is my body and this is my blood! And out to one of their favorite places and Jesus cries out in agony and sweats like blood and pleads with God that there be another way and his followers are fast asleep. And then the betrayal begins and goes down and bloodshed and the beginning of nothing good and everything evil is coming down.

We continue in this mid week of the Holy Week, indeed the passion and suffering week, and the week when things are truly going down! This is probably the day that the deal was done and making sure that Jesus would be done for! For the powers that be most of all religiously but some for political reasons, Jesus must be taken down, And so I call this the Big B Day... And let me tell you the story about the b-day and what it can mean not only for Jesus but for you and me too. Because there's a good chance that we will have more than one B-day in our life too!

Well Jesus is back and now he continues to raise a ruckus and cause trouble in Jerusalem, and the powers that be are being threatened by that not only because he has a great deal of popular support he seems to almost be fearless and right in their face. They try to catch him and harass him and ask him who does he think he is and where does he get his authority and credibility and his power. And he gives it right back to them, keeping them off balance, and demonstrating that he's probably even smarter than they are, So right now he begins to demonstrate the truth that will be confirmed later in the week, indeed this is Jesus and he is The One!

Well we enjoy celebrating the parade on Sunday but on Monday Jesus is not just coming down into town again he's coming down to take a lot of other things down with him... And so we have the famous scene of Jesus, hardly gentle and kind, flipping tables throwing things, scaring people and making a big mess. Indeed Monday is truly a messy day and they are going to be a lot of messy things coming down this week. Are you ready to learn from all of the things that are going down.

Starting this Sunday we're going to begin a whole new series of little 5 to 7 minute programs every day later in the afternoon early evening on the subject of ON GOING DOWN. And today millions of people around the world celebrated what is oftentimes called the triumphal entry of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem. I'm not so sure about that description. And so I have re-entitled it Sunday Morning Going Down. So please give me seven minutes to tell you the introduction to my story and perhaps how you might join me in seeking not only to think differently but actually be different at the end of the week.

 Whether we went, whether we ran away, whether we dodged and got deferred or maybe we just weren't qualified in someway, the era of the Vietnam war affected almost every young man in America in some way. Millions of them went to the war and many thousands died in the war.  Many were deeply and profoundly injured in the war and some were damaged in such ways that life just went profoundly wrong for them in so many ways.  And in some ways those poor folks are really the victims because they didn't get their name on the wall but in many ways the war had taken their life anyhow. And now many people have forgotten or didn't know that the world famous and almost universally loved memorial was very controversial when it was first proposed and then when it was first built. Many thought it was a terrible idea.  May I tell you that story.
