We finally have the release window for Playstation 5! Doom Eternal gets delayed longer than expected. Blizzard is taking a stand against the biggest Hearthstone pro. The Marvel Avengers game ads a new character while Call of Duty mobile is breaking records. Apex Legends drops a new map and season 3. If you haven't played Red Dead Redemption 2 yet you no longer have an excuse, soon it drops for the PC. 

Gaming trends is in focus this week and will be next week as well. What are the defining trends right now? We take a look at the genre defining trends of open world games, battle royal, RPG elements in games and many more. Battle royal exploded a couple of years ago, why? Games are getting bigger and bigger but do every game need an open world or RPG elements?

Destiny 2 is back, at least now on Steam. The last of us 2 is also getting some cool improvements while a Call Of Duty Mobile game is out. Loot boxes have been a hot topic for a long time now, Rocket League is removing there's and is introducing blueprints. CS Go in France is also affected which leds to some interesting changes. Cross-play is now live in PUBG, a new Walking Dead game in vr will be released, this and more in episode 24 of Midweek newsreel.

The looting mechanic in games is a big and powerful tool. Borderlands and Diablo is definitely two of the biggest looter titles. More and more games seems to make this mechanic a standard. We take a look at some of the biggest titles and ask our self's, What is the draw? Do to many games have looting? Could we replace it?   We also talk a bit about the new Asus ROG II and the new Mario Kart Tour.

Sony had there State of Play where they gave us a release date for The last of us 2.  The new Call of Duty got a story trailer and a few new games were shown, Humanity and Arise.  Borderlands 3 is the fastest-selling 2K game ever, do you need Google game pass? It's soon here... The game that can't catch a break is Fallout, now they have a problem with mold.

Put the pedal to the metal and join us on this racing filled episode. We take a look back at the early racing games and what made them so much fun to play. One of the games we wish we had a sequel to is F-Zero. An forgotten game series that deserves a new title. We still play driving and racing games until this day. Forza Horizon, Dirt and Need for Speed is three of the biggest racing games now days and have really stepped up the game when it comes to modifying your car, how the car handles, open world and race tracks. 

Gears 5 has been out for little more then a week now. We have finished it and deliver our final words. The looter shooter Borderlands is having some problems with a loot glitch, can the new Total War game have been leaked?    Anthem is trying to make things better but is the new plan really a good thing for the game? Rockstar Games is joining the launcher fest with it's own, and Nintendo is on a Dragon Quest spree. 

Borderlands 3, TGS, Comic Con and more in episode 96. Borderlands 3 is out and we have started playing it. We will give you our first impression of the game and if it's worth your time. Here in Sweden we have Comic Con Stockholm each year. Does the event hold up? Is it worth visiting? If this isn't enough, TGS is this weekend as well. Games like Death stranding, Resident Evil project resistances, Nioh 2, Gungrave GORE and Yakuza 7 were shown but where is Ghost of Tsushima?

A new Resident Evil game! Nintendo is always developing new and interesting stuff. Now it seems like a new controller is on the way. The Switch have a new update with some nice features. Is this the end times for rom sites? It seems like the big sites are taking some hits from Nintendo. TGS is happening and Final Fantasy seven have a new trailer. Death Stranding is also going to be there with a gigant demo. We will cover TGS in the next episode, stay tune fot that. Apple is trying to get in to the gaming industry with Apple Arcade. The Octopath developers have a new game launching there. Sea of Thieves and Siege have a lot of new content available. We will soon get more news about The Last of Us 2... finally.

Nintendo Direct, Blair Witch and Gears 5, a lot to cover in this episode. Nintendo did not disappoint in there latest Direct with over 30 games and a few new titles. As we have talked about in previous episodes, Overwatch is finally announced for the Switch. You have new titles like Rouge company, Deadly Premonition, Little Town Hero and Super Kirby Clash. Nintendo online is geting bigger and better with 20 Super Nintendo games and more to follow.   Blair Witch got released a week back and we have played and completed it. We give you a review of the game and whether you should buy it or not. Gears 5 have also been released on Xbox Game Pass and we have played it. We will give you a first impression of the game with a full review to follow inte the next episode.

Is a new Splinter Cell on the way? GameStop seems to think so. Cyberpunk 2077 is geting closer and closer to release and multiplayer have been confirmed. Borderlands 3 is a little more then a week away and we discuss the preloading aspect of it. If you can't get enough of Gears the pvp mobile game is doing very well at the moment. Uplay+ have also launched with over a 100 games that includes the latest titles.

A weekend filled of Pax! An event more for the people Pax West is here with more than we expected. The big studios and the big titels can be found on the floor to try out but when it comes to news, the smaller studios take a step forward.    Borderlands 3 was the biggest title at Pax West and delivered news about the end game content for the game. Its nice to se an event where a lot of indie games are shown even if you don't like every title. A few titles we found interesting where Airborn kingdom, Prehistoric kingdom, Astroneer, Black Skylands and Stela.

Overwatch, Insomniac, Wow classic and movies seems to dominate this past week. Movies based on games is nothing new and with the new rise of the Mortal Combat games a movie is going to be produced. Metro 2033 is also getting a movie, the movie is going to be made in Russia but everything els seems unknown. Overwatch exists on PC, Xbox and PS4 but what about the Switch? Could Overwatch soon be making an appearance on the Switch? Insomniac's Spider-man game is getting a game of the year edition for a good price. The studio is also getting bought up by Sony, could this mean we are getting some old titles back? Brought back from the the dead, resurrected and back making games is the Telltale Games studio. We got a package from First4figures but something is wrong, very wrong. 

We take a final look at that Gamescom gave us this year. We also look ahead at the rest of the year and the games we what to play. From last month and forward we have a loot of good games like Fire Emblem, Control, Astral Chain Luigi's Mansion 3 and many more.    We hade hopped Sony would have had a bigger presence at Gamescom, at least we got more of Death Stranding. We are big Halo fans which means that Call of Duty is not the go to fps game for us. The thing is that the latest game sparked some interest, I wonder if we will buy it.

Gamescom 2019 is here! We talk about everything reveled at the show and give you our take on the hole show. Gamescom delivered a few new titles like,  Everspace 2, Disintegration, Synced Off-Planet, Greedfall, Kerbal Space Program 2 and more. This was absolutely the highlight because of the disappointment from Sony and Microsoft.   Stadia showed of more games for there platform, the Switch delivered gameplay from Witcher 3, Marvel's Avengers released a big gameplay trailer and Death Stranding gave us three smaller trailers with more information about the world.

World of Warcraft is going classic. The biggest mmo in the world is going back to its roots with Wow classic. The game launched back in 2004 and have dropped a lot of expansions since then. The classic version will go back to what the game offered from the start. Giving everyone that didn't play it back in the day a chance to experience the beginning as well as giving the old players a second chance to relive the game in its former glory.

With Gamescom rumors and news are starting to pop up. Need for Speed Heat have a reveal trailer, Playstation 5 might be revealed early next year and Phil Spencer talks about Xbox studio games on other consoles. Dead Island 2 is still in the works, now a third studio is working on the game. Children of Morta that originally was going to be released last year finally have a release data. Today we are taking a look at one of the heavy hitters when it comes to consoles, the beast with the best exclusive games right now, the Playstation 4. Sony have always been great at making consoles and games but is the Ps4 to safe?  The great library of games elevate the console above the Xbox One but the Ps4 has its drawbacks. What does the future hold for Sony? Is the Ps5 the last console? 

American politics are influencing games with Trump attacking and blaming games. Loot boxes are getting some positive changes and being backed by big publishers. Gamescom is soon here with announcements about developers, games and publishers. Sony is making an appearance and hopefully with some release dates.  Halo Infinite will be released at the end of next year and news have surfaced. The Halo series have it's actors now but will it satisfy us as gamers? A breath of the wild rip off, more like an  other great game to play. This and more in episode 16!

The Nintendo train is still going strong. With the Switch Lite announced we take a look at the Switch and it's history. Nintendo is always the company to try new and different ideas and backing them  up with excellent games. The Switch is an amazing piece of hardware but it dosen't come without it's flaws. The Switch is a gaming console and you cant talk about a console without talking about the games. The switch have a lot of awesome titles but is still missing some beloved ones.
