Xbox Series X will have backwards compatibility at launch, new Ps attachments and Stadia is using an old version of Borderlands 3. If you always wanted to create music you can now do it in No Man's Sky. Apex Legends is getting a Global Series, you can pre-order Resident Evil 3 now and you can play the Last Remnant on mobil. World War Z the game is getting a big update the same goes for Luigi's Mansion next year. Last but not least Warcraft 3 Reforged have got a release date. 

The year 2019 is coming to a close. This means determining the best games through the year. The game awards this year also came with a lot of reveals. A bunch of new ip, content, trailers for upcoming games and of course the winners in every category. We take a look at everything that got revealed and give you our take on the winners this year.

Playstation have had there State of Play, jammed packed with stuff. We got a bit more information on Ghost of Tsushima, the Final Fantasy XII remake will be exclusive to Playstation for a year and as we predicted Resident Evil 3 remake is real and will drop soon. A new Crash Bandicoot might be in the works, a new BioShock is in the works, this and more in this weeks newsreel.

Halo Reach PC and Man of Medan is what we talk about in this episode. It's been a long time coming now but Halo have finally been released on PC. The Master Chief Collection contains six games, Halo Reach is first out while the others will release over the next year. The release brings with it a few new things while staying true to the original. We have also played Man of Medan. A very interesting horror game with an original idé. This isn't the longest game and is more of an interactive movie than a game. We give you our take on the game and if it's worth your time.

Halo Reach for PC is out. You can find our stream on Mixer: LifeasaGamer. In other gaming news, the cover art for a rumored Resident Evil 3 remake have been found. The Nintendo Switch is soon launching i China, we have more detailed about Overwatch 2 and a Starship Troopers game is on the way. Microsoft is promising a new first party game every three months on the Xbox Scarlett, unfortunately there having problems with dev kits. This and more in episode 33 of Midweek Newsreel.

Do you have a favorit casual game? We play a lot of games and sometimes you need a casual experience. Between all the shooting, slaying and saving the world a slower and more relaxing experience can be good. We list our favorits and tell you why there classified as casual to us. 

Valve have released a massive update for Dota 2 and the latest Call of Duty will soon do the same. There are rumors about Rockstar making a medieval game. Rockstar is at least going to drop new content in the future for GTA 5. Microsoft is not going to do vr, at least not any time soon according to Phil Spencer. There are a few launchers out there now and with game streaming being a thing soon Amazon is reportedly taking a swing at it.

Half Life Alyx is the new game from Valve and seems to deliver one hell of an experience, can this led to Half Life 3? We also take a look at remakes and remasters in this episode. Remasters of beloved games is a treat for us gamers, if done right. This year and 2020 give us a lot of titles that we have requested but which ones are still left?

Stadia is out, but does it work? We finally have a new Half Life game on the way but unfortunately not the game we requested. Path of Exile 2 have been revealed and a mobil version might also be released. A complete overhaul for Anthem is on the way, can the game be saved?  Borderlands 3 is getting it's first dlc, a new Saints Row game is in development and the patent for the new Ps5 controller is revealed. We have been streaming Dead by Daylight a lot recently, a new dlc for the game is soon here with a new map, survivor and of course a killer.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order, we have played the game! We also take a look a the X019. The new Star Wars game have dropped and we have played it and give you our take on the game. Xbox had it's X019 a few days ago. This ment a loot of new games a release date for Halo Mcc to PC and information in general about everything Xbox.   

The new Pokémon games are soon here but something seems to be missing. Siege is getting it's last two operators of the year and is Valve going to do cloud gaming? Call of Duty is soon adding it's first battle pass, Ghost Recon Breakpoint's new patch is live and the reworked Sonic is here, but is the movie going to be any good?   X019 is tomorrow  and promises the first look at the new Age of Empires, Nintendo won't cut the price on the Switch just yet and what is happening with gametime for kids in China? 

We have played Death Stranding and discuss the game in length this episode. We also take a look at game that have been over-hyped thought the years. Kojima have finally release the long awaited Death Stranding. Do the game live up to all the hype, is the game a masterpiece or is it just a glorified walking simulator. Is there more to the game then just walking? is the story interesting enough for you to play the game?

We have played Link's Awakening, yes a bit late but as they say better then never. Kojima productions vill give us more content, apparently there going to start making movies. Horizon Zero Dawn 2 might be in the works while a new Banjo-Kazooie game dosen't seem likely. Red dead Redemption 2 is now on PC, but can you handle it? A Fortnite pro have been permanently banned for using aimbot, Ubisoft wants to make all of there pvp titles cross-play and what are Valve and Apple working on? All this and more in episode 29!

Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2... the rumors were true. This year Blizzard did it right, they gave us Diablo 4 and showed more then we expected. They also confirmed that Overwatch 2 is on the way. Pve is a big part of Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 is going bigger then ever. World of Warcraft is of course getting a new expansion, Shadowlands. We have also played Luigi's Mansion and give you our take on the game and if it's worth your money and time.

EA is back on Steam with the new Star Wars game and more on the way. EA is also delaying Battlefield and a few other games. Ubisoft is doing the same with almost all of there upcoming titles. Blizzard is still leaking, this time it seems like news about the upcoming expansion for Wow. Breakpoint is having a hard time , a major overhaul is on the way which promises a more immersive experience. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is out but seems to have changed history. There are a lot of competitive games out there, but which ones are really the best? What does it take to create a top of the line competitive game? We list our top five competitive games in this episode. The games we think are the best, we have spent the most time in and have had the most fun in.                      

Blizzcon is only a month away and the expectations are high. The pressure is on with Diablo 4 possibly being leaked. More halloween events have been announced with Borderlands 3 and Siege joining the party.       Marvel's Avengers have disclosed haw the gear in the game will work, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order won't fast travel. Battlefield V is soon dropping the big pacific dlc. It will include many new weapons, maps and a few vehicles and of course adding the Americans and Japanese factions. Breakpoint have been out for a while now. We try to break down the game and the entire Ghost Recon series in this episode. It's a long line of games now and with the last game being the first with an open world the series is trying something new. With the game going open world and adding an RPG system it follows what Ubisoft have done with all of it's major titles, but is this what we want? 

Halloween events all over the place, Sea of Thieves adds fort of the damned. Riot Games celebrates 10 years with a bang, announcing several new games and a plan for the future. Blizzard is still in hot water and is now canceling launch party event. Games are still dancing around lootboxes trying to avoid the subject. The new Call of Duty is one of them, Cyberpunk 2077 is on the other hand saying that microtransactions is a bad idé. This and much more in episode 26 of Midweek Newsreel.
