On this last episode we invited Act.Natural, they are a brand new DJ/production duo hailing from Leeds, formed through a long standing friendship and a mutual love of music. They found that both their tastes were along a similar line to one another whilst also still having very individual eclectic interests. They love everything from 90’s hip hop, to breakbeat through to disco and of course house music and everything in between. Act.Natural’s main aim is to create and deliver music in their own unique way and to do it how they want to do it, without having to succumb to the latest trends or 'the norm.' They've been big vinyl collectors for a number of years and they love nothing more than digging through record stores to find that one gem. The margin is the new project by producer and promoter Dan Watts aka Fractal Architect. As a teen of the eighties, Dan witnessed the establishment of techno and house music as it filtered over the water from Chicago and Detroit, before finally exploding into popular culture in England through the original Energy parties in London. This week a special two hour session with Chile’s old schooler Marcelo Medel (M_Dell), his passion for music started back on 1982, he has 13 EPs on his name, and has been playing professionally for quite a long time, he has shared decks with some of the world’s top Dj’s such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano , Mathew Johnson, Stefan Bodzin, Miss Kittin, Jay Haze, Digitaline and many others. Marcelo’s musical style is in between Organic house and Tech house, and always includes a great deal of latin american percussions in his sets, is not strange to see the entire club trying to fit in the dance floor when he is playing. Ian Metty is an authentic artist who doesn't follow up trends, instead he follows "The Music In his Head", as he says. His music is melodic and yet deep, both danceable and mellow to listen at the same time. Ian says music needs to be colorful, "its like a painting and you have to choose the right colors", the same applies to his music, where every sound has its own color and purpose. He uses mostly analogue synthesizers and real instruments like piano, guitar, etc. He currently lives between Berlin and Costa Brava and is spending most of his time making melodic electronic music. As a DJ, Ian has performed in London, Berlin, Moscow, Prague, Barcelona and other electronic music hot spots around Europe. His sets are full of energy, melodies, vocals and always display his passion for a good vibe.

This session was recorded as a playground for the microtechno proposal, we enjoy ourselves chilling and playing vinyl an entire afternoon. Matias De Ferrari is one of the recurrent names in the chilean vinyl wave, even though he has been away from the scene for quite a while, now he is returning every other weekend with his own night and guests at Club Orquidea in Puerto Varas.
