The four-week series on The Gospel According to Joseph continues with Pastor Marcus' message Joseph Tempted. When we endure temptation, we do not do so in our own strength but in the power of God's love poured out in Jesus.

Pastor Marcus launches our four-week sermon series The Gospel According to Joseph with a message on Joseph Mistreated. The outline for this message is Jacob’s partiality, Joseph’s pride, and his brother’s contempt.

We continue to study heroes of our faith in the series "Dead Guy Summer." Saints are born out of a confidence of who we already are in Jesus: We are heirs. We have put on Christ. We are one.

At face value the life of St. Monica is fairly unremarkable. And yet, through her life we see a picture of the gospel. Just as she faithfully loved and pursued her son, we have a God who has loved and pursued us in Christ. 

As we continue our Dead Guy Summer sermon series, we look at the live of two brothers, Cyril and Methodius. In their lives we see how the mission of God is fulfilled as we proclaim the powerful and life-giving message of the gospel to all people. 

We continue our sermon series Dead Guy Summer with a message from Pastor Marcus on how the firstborn of creation became the firstborn from the dead to reconcile you to God. 

In the lives and deaths of Perpetua and Felicity we see two women who did not settle for shallow answers in life, but lived in light of a deeper reality, who they were in Christ. May we too embrace a Spirit of adoption, a vision of glory, and hope that triumphs in the face of despair.

In this sermon series, we look at the lives of the saints, not to place them upon pedestals, but to ultimately look beyond them. There is no better example than Martin Luther, whose life and teaching remind us to look beyond ourselves to Christ, who is our righteousness.

In the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, we see the radical call to follow Jesus and live lives of countercultural faithfulness. This is not an easy call, but the one who calls has freely given himself for us, so we long to freely follow after Him.

Today we launch our first summer sermon series Dead Guy Summer with a message on a heroes of the faith, featuring Basil. Today is also Pentecost Sunday. The same Spirit that was present at Pentecost pointing men and women to Jesus is present in and through the Word, pointing you to Jesus. Because Jesus is the salvation of the world. Jesus is our rescue from sin and all of the ways it has corrupted God’s good creation.

Guest Pastor Ken Huner completes our Easter series with this message, Risen to Complete. 

As Jesus meets with Peter after his resurrection, he invites Peter and us to love Him, depend on him, and follow him even into death. 

Pastor Marcus continues the series on He is Risen with the message Risen to Remind. This message shares how every moment, every relationship, every interaction is lived in the newness of Christ and his forgiveness. 

In these two verse John invites us to see that Jesus is connected to every area of our lives. The reality of Jesus’ resurrection means he is alive now, we can know him, be transformed by him, and find life in his name. 

Pastor Marcus continues the He is Risen series with a message on doubt. There is a reason for doubt, an answer to doubt, and a promise in doubt. In the face of doubt and uncertainty, cling to Jesus, because when you cling to Jesus you are blessed. 

In the midst of our fear, the resurrected Jesus shows up and announces peace. As we receive his peace he sends us out by the power of the Holy Spirit to announce grace to the world.

Pastor Marcus completes our Lenten "Sojourn" series with a message encouraging listeners to seek Jesus, search the Scriptures, and see Jesus. 

When Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper he showed us his love, invited us into fellowship with him, and commanded us to extend that love to one another. 

As he closes out his letter to the early church, St. Peter exhorts us to live humble lives before God and before each other. But this path of humility can only be followed by looking to our humble king.

Pastor Marcus continues our Lenten Sojourn series with a message about community. When we love each other we are witnessing to God's action in the past and the reality he has in store for the future.
