The Gospel of Luke is written so that we would have confidence in all that Jesus has done.

In Jesus resurrection we have victory over idols, cynicism, and death.

Our allegiance to Jesus trumps all other allegiances. 

Materialism is a god that always demands and never satisfies. Jesus is a God who always gives and always satisfies.

Righteous is based on the work of Jesus, because the addition of any requirement of the Law undermines the gospel itself.

In Jesus we are invited to turn from our idols and find our home in the arms of the Father.

Jesus challenges the idol of traditionalism because it conflates human traditions with God’s commands.

God calls us to worship him alone. Trusting in Him, the one that created all things, rather than the things of this world He created. 

Jesus teaches us how to love with maturity through intentionally trusting in order to build connection and belonging.

Jesus calls us to embrace new rhythms and spiritual practices built around the new reality of the gospel.

Jesus invites us to let go of our worries and trust in God’s provision.

Jesus responds to the temptations that question our identity with the clear words of God that promise we are God’s children.

As we acknowledge the inherent connection between our emotional health and spiritual maturity, the gospel heals us holistically.

Jesus comes as the representative of the Trinity to accomplish God's mission to restore all things by casting out evil and establishing God's kingdom on earth.

The love of God revealed in Christ mobilizes generations for mission.

Despite our sin, God’s presence pursues us.

In Jesus birth we receive God’s promise, his presence, and his hope. 

The story of David and Bathsheba reveals both the reality of human sin and the depth of God’s love.

The story of Ruth gives us a picture of what it means to live as God's people.
