Tights, Camera, Action!

This episode starts with a rant about X-Men 3 - don't worry, it makes sense. The gang has many complex emotions about SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006), Bryan Singer's 'soft sequel' to the Richard Donner Superman movies. This movie is like HULK in that it's considered a 'failure' but it's not a terrible movie. Owen, Stef and Kyle decided that they should get in touch with the zeitgeist and talk about JESSICA JONES (2015), which isn't a movie (shhh!) but is most definitely based on a comic book. In this ep we discuss the themes of the show, what a cool villain Kilgrave is, and speculate on some upcoming Marvel series. Stef also calls David Tennant "Doctor Who" - sorry nerds!
