Welcome back, faithful listeners! This week we saw Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film Moulin Rouge. We talked about the use of non-original songs in musicals, the Violent Femmes, and Nicole Kidman, John Leguizamo and Ewan McGregor. Between recording and posting this episode, it was apparent that Edgar misidentified "The Pest" starring John Leguizamo as "The Jerk".

This week we both watched Rocky for the first time. Heather had a slight panic attack during the recording, but we also talked about Fearless Comedy Productions and their Die Laughing Marathon, and sports movies.

Welcome back! This week we said goodbye to Prince with his semi-autobiographical musical Purple Rain. We talked about musicals set in the midwest, the Minnesota touches from Purple Rain, and seeing live shows. It gets a little Inside Baseball about half way through, but we had a good time.
